Acarya Kundakunda again raises a question here that - why the Soul is dependent on non-self in spite of each object being considered as independent? As a response to this question Acarya says - from the Absolute point of view the Soul is completely independent. But the Practical point of view is hindering the independency of the Soul. It is essential to be aware of self dependency to rescue from the cap of non-self dependence. FOUNDATION OF NON-VIOLENCE
The Soul independency or the Materialistic independence is the fundamental base for the principle of Non-Violence. One who desires respect has to respect the independency of others as well. In other terms, Mumukshu - one who is about to take up monkhood should walk on the path of the Liberation. If at all the object is not free from its nature then its independency is synthetic. Synthetic independence cannot be constant. The Jaina tradition believes that the independence of the object is its nature. Since the independence is the object's nature, the non-violence dwelling out of it is natural virtue.
The fundamental nature of an object is eternal and universal. According to Dr. Dayanand Bhargava
