I am in due receipt of your letter No. L. R. /6403 dated 5th September and in reply I have to state that while thanking the Government for fully recognizing the spirit of loyalty of the Jains, the address intended to be presented to His Majesty the King Emperor was not meant to be presented by the Jains of Bombay but by the whole Jain Comminnty of India. I have however sent copies of your letter again to the Secretaries of the Sthanakvasi and Digambar Conferences and other leading and influential Jains of India for information and guidance.
