Shakespeare. મેઘરાજાની મહેરબાનીના અભાવે કહે કે જગતમાં વધી પડેલાં પાપનાં પરિણામ રૂપે કહે પણ આ પ્રાચીન ભારત વર્ષમાં દુકાળનું સંકટ આજકાલ વધતું જાય છે. ચાલુ માસું અત્યાર સુધીમાં નિષ્ફળ નીવડયું છે. મેઘરાજાને મનાવવા માટે લોકોએ ઉજાણ આદિ પ્રયોગો અત્યંત આર્જવભરેલાં વચને વડે કર્યા છતાં મેઘજી ઇંદ્રજીની પેઢીએ લોકોની કાકલુદી સામે જરાપણુ દયાની નજરથી જોયું નથી. મનુષ્યની તે ઠીક પણ બિચારાં મુગાં પ્રાણીની દયાજનક સ્થિતિ તરફ પણ નજર કરી નથી. મનુષ્યોને તો કદાચ કોઈ પ્રકારનાં પાપની શિક્ષા થતી હશે પણ બિચારાં નિરપરાધી અબોલ મુગાં
