their honesty of purpose but this question is worth consideration under the present surrounding circumstances which we cannot ignore. With this brief observations on a momentous question I should like to touch only one or two questions affecting our young brethren who have taken this trouble of organising this gathering at great sacrifice of time, money and energy.

સુખી સંસાર તેયે શું? દુઃખી સંસાર તોયે શું? દુઃખી સંસાર કહેતા સ, સુખી સંસાર દેખત હું, હતે આધાર સુધા સમ સાર, જતાં આધાર નિરાધાર! ગયો વિકમ, ગયે ભેજ, ગયા દાની અને ધ ગયા વિલાસ ગયા તાન, ગયું વહાલ અહો માત. જવાનું એ કદિ વિસર્યું, જવું જે હાલ તેયે શું? ક્ય ઉપકાર મનમાની, કૃતધ્રી ચિત્તથી ત્યાગી. જતાં સિએન્જઉં હુએ, રહ્યું કેઈ કહેતું એ? ર સંસારે એકજ સ્વાર્થ, રમે સૃષ્ટિએ એકજ સાથ. કળી અંબુજ કરમાતાં, વિલાસી ભૃગ વેરાતાં, રડે સિા કેઈ પિતાનું, આપ સુચિત્ રહે શાનું? જવું એ સ્વાર્થને કાજે, ઉભયના હિતને માટે દશા તંત્ર કદિ દહાશે, મૂર્તિ રૂપે થઈશ ત્યારે. લલાટે જે લખ્યા છે લેખ, કરે નવિ કઈ મીન ન મેખ; અરે અહે ભાગ્ય! હિત ભાગ્ય, અરે ! નિષ્ફર હદય ફાટય. નથી છુટાતું જાવાતું, તથાપિ હાય જાવાનું સુખી સંસાર તેયે શું? દુઃખી સંસાર તેયે શું?
