Jain Acharya Shri Buddhisagarsuris warji (Ocean of Knowledge )

The name of this great Prophet is well known to the Jains, but several other persons of other religions who are interested in the life and teaching of this wonderful man, would like to know him and so it would be very useful if some glimpses of his life may be given here.
He was really an ocean of knowledge and his name signifies the vast knowledge
and Soul Force which are apparent in his life and in the various books which he has written.
Bharat is well known for the Birth of Divine persons, Saints, Tirthankars, Philosophers and Devotees of God and the hero of this Page was one of them.
It is the promise of God in Bhagvat Gita that when
ever religion will be disappcaring, whenever good persons will be oppressed, some avatari person is born for the restoration of religion and for bringing peace and prosperity in the world. We know this from the birth of Lord Mahavir, Buddha, Shri Krishna, Shri Ram at different periods, when it was
necessary.
Acharya Shri Hemchandracharyaji, Shri Anandgbanji and Shri Yashovijayji were. also born at different times and they have done wonderful works which are well known to Jains. Such persons are born with certain knowledge which they had accomplished during the present life. They acquired Salvation after leaving the knowledge in the books as a legacy for posterity.
