मोक्षमार्ग प्रपंच सूचिका चूलिका यः खल्वहंदादिभक्तिविथेयबुद्धिः सन् परमसंयमप्रधानमतितीव्र तपस्तप्यते, स तावन्मात्ररागकलिकलङ्कितस्वान्तः साक्षान्मोक्षस्यान्तरायीभूतं विषयविषबुमामोहितान्तरंग स्वर्गलोकं समासाद्य, सुचिरं रागाङ्गारैः पच्यमानोऽन्तस्ताम्यतीति ।। १७१।।
अन्वयार्थ—[य: ] जो ( जीव ), [अर्हत्सिद्धचैत्यप्रवचनभक्तः ] अर्हत, सिद्ध, चैत्य ( . अर्हतादिकी प्रतिमा ) और प्रवचन ( -शास्त्र ) के प्रति भक्तियुक्त वर्तता हुआ, [परेण नियमेन ] परम संयम सहित [तप:कर्म ] तपकर्म [ -तपरूप कार्य] [करोति ] करता है, [स: ] वह [सुरलोक ] देवलोकको [ समादत्ते ] सम्प्राप्त करता है।
टीका—यह, अर्हतादिकी भक्ति मात्र रागसे उत्पत्र होनेवाला जो साक्षात् मोक्षका अतंराय उसका प्रकाशन है। __जो [ जीव ] वास्तवमें अर्हतादिकी भक्तिके आधीन बुद्धिवाला वर्तता हुआ परसंयमप्रधान अतितीव्र तप तपता है, वह [जीव ], मात्र उत्तने रागरूप क्लेशसे जिसका निज अंत:करण कलंकित ( -मलिन ) है ऐसा वर्तता हुआ, विषयविषवृक्षके आमोदसे जहाँ अंतरंग ( - अंत:करण ) मोहित होता है ऐसे स्वर्गलोकको-जो कि साक्षात् मोक्षको अंतरायभूत है उसेसंप्राप्त करके, सुचिरकाल पर्यंत [-बहुत लम्बे काल तक ] रागरूपी अंगारोंसे दह्यमान हुः अंतरंगमें संतप्त [-दुःखी, व्यथित ] होता है ।।१७१।।
सं० ता०-अथ पूर्वसूत्रे भणितं तद्भवे मोक्षं न लभते पुण्यबन्धमेव प्राप्नोतीति तमेवार्थ द्रढयति,–अर्हत्सिद्धचैत्यप्रवचनभक्तः सन् परेणोत्कृष्टेन यः कश्चित्करोति । किं तपःकर्म स नियमेन सुरलोकं समाददाति प्राप्नोतीत्यर्थः । अत्र सूत्रे य: कोपि शुद्धात्मानमुपादेयं कृत्वा आगमभाषया मोक्षं वा व्रततपश्चरणादिकं करोति स निदानरहितपरिणामेन सम्यग्दृष्टिर्भवति तस्य तु संहननादिशक्त्यभावाच्छुद्धात्मस्वरूपे स्थातुमशक्यत्वाद्वर्तमानभवे पुण्यबंध एव, भवान्तरे तु परमात्मभावनास्थितत्वे सति नियमेन मोक्षो भवति तद्विपरीतस्य भवान्तरेपि मोक्षनियमो नास्तीति सूत्राभिप्रायः ।।१७१|| इत्यचरमदेहपुरुषव्याख्यानमुख्यत्वेन दशमस्थले गाथाद्वयं गतं ।
हिन्दी ता०-उत्थानिका-आगे पहले सूत्रमें जो बात कही है कि जो तीर्थंकरादिकी भक्ति में लीन है वह उसी भवसे मोक्षको नहीं पाता है, मात्र पुण्यबंध ही करता है । इसी अर्थको दृढ करते हैं
अन्वयसहित सामान्यार्थ-(जो ) जो ( अरहंतसिद्धचेदियपर्वयणभत्तो) अरहंत, सिद्ध, अर्हतप्रतिमा व जिनवाणीका भक्त होता हुआ ( परेण) उत्तम प्रकारसे ( तवोकम्म) तपके आचरणको ( कुणदि) करता है (सो) वह (णियमेण) नियमसे ( सुरलोगं) देवलोकको ( समादियदि ) प्राप्त करता है।
