The **Pancastikaya Prakrut** (265) states that the **Nischya Kala** (true time) is eternal, manifesting its true nature, while the **Vyavahara Kala** (practical time) is a synonym for a particular substance, which is destroyed as soon as it is born. Although it is fleeting, it shows its lineage (flow), so there is no fault in calling it "long-lasting" by the force of **naya** (logic). Therefore, **Aavlika**, **Palyopama**, **Sagaropama**, etc., are not prohibited as practical time.
Thus, it is said here that **Nischya Kala** is eternal because it is a substance, while **Vyavahara Kala** is momentary because it is a synonym.
