षड्द्रव्य-पंचास्तिकायवर्णन आकाशस्य गतिस्थितिहेतुत्वाभावे हेतूपन्यासोऽयम्जदि हवदि गमण-हेदू आगासं ठाण-कारणं तेसिं । पसजदि अलोग-हाणी लोगस्स य अंत-परिवुड्डी ।।१४।।
यदि भवति गमनहेतुराकाशं स्थानकारणं तेषां ।
प्रसजत्यलोकहानिर्लोकस्य चांतपरिवृद्धिः ।।९४।। नाकाशं गतिस्थितिहेतुः लोकालोकसीमव्यवस्थायास्तथोपपत्तेः । यदि गतिस्थित्योराकाशमेव निमित्तमिष्येत, तदा तस्य सर्वत्र सद्भावाज्जीवपुद्गलानां गतिस्थित्योर्निःसीमत्वातातिक्षणमलोको हीयते । पूर्व पूर्व व्यवस्थाप्यमानश्चांतो लोकस्योत्तरोत्तरपरिवृद्ध्या विघटते । ततो न तत्र तद्धेतुरिति ।।१४।।
अन्वयार्थ—[ यदि ] यदि ( आकाशं ) आकाश ( तेषाम् ) जीव-पुद्गलोंको ( गमनहेतुः ) गतिहेतु और [स्थानकारणं ] स्थितिहेतु ( भवति ) होता तो ( अलोकहानिः ) अलोककी हानिका ( च ) और ( लोकस्य अन्तपरिवृद्धिः ) लोकके अन्तकी वृद्धिका ( प्रसजति ) प्रसंग आये।
टीका-यहाँ, आकाशको गतिस्थितिहेतुत्वका अभाव होने सम्बन्धी हेतु उपस्थित किया गया है।
आकाश गतिस्थितिका हेतु नहीं है, क्योंकि लोक और अलोककी सीमाकी व्यवस्था इसी प्रकार बन सकती है। यदि आकाशको ही गति स्थितिका निमित्त माना जाये, तो आकाशका सद्भाव सर्वत्र होनेके कारण जीव-पुद्गलोंकी गतिस्थितिकी कोई सीमा न रहनेसे प्रतिक्षण अलोककी हानि होगी और पहले-पहले व्यवस्थापित हुआ लोकका अन्त उत्तरोत्तर वृद्धि पानेसे लोकका अन्त टूट जायेगा। इसलिये आकाश गति स्थिति हेतु नहीं है ।।९४।। ___ सं० ता०-अथाकाशस्य गतिस्थितिहेतुत्वाभावे साध्ये पुनरपि कारण कथयति, जदि हवदियदि चेन्द्रवति । स कः । गमणहेदू-गमनहेतुः । किं । आयासं-आकाशं, न केवलं गमनहेतुः ? ठाणकारणं-स्थितिकारणं । केषां । तेसिं-तेषां जीवपुद्गलानां । तदा किं दूषणं भवति । पसयदिप्रसजति प्राप्नोति । सा का। अलोगहाणी--अलोकहानि: न केवलमलोकहानि:, लोगस्स य अंतपरिवड्डी-लोकस्य चांतपरिवृद्धिरिति । तद्यथा-यद्याकाशं गतिस्थित्योः कारणं च भवति तदा तस्याकाशस्य लोकबहि गेपि सद्भावात्तत्रापि जीवपुद्गलानां गमनं भवति ततश्चालोकस्य हानिर्भवति लोकांतस्य तु वृद्धिर्भवति न च तथा, तस्मात्कारणात् ज्ञायते नाकाशं स्थितिगत्यो; कारणमित्यभिप्रायः ।।९४।।
