समय व्याख्या गाथा-३९ अत्र कः किं चेतयत इत्युक्तम् । सव्वे खलु कम्मफलं थावर-काया तसा हि कज्ज-जुदं । पाणित्त-मदिक्कंता णाणं विदंति ते जीवा ।।३९।।
सवें खलु कर्मफलं स्थावरकायास्त्रसा हि कार्ययुतम् ।
प्राणित्वमतिक्रांताः ज्ञानं विदन्ति ते जीवाः ।।३९।। चेतयंते अनुभवन्ति उपलभंते विदंतीत्येकार्थाश्चेतनानुभत्युपलब्धिवेदनानामेकार्थत्वात् । तत्र स्थावराः कर्मफलं चेतयंते, त्रसाः कार्य चेतयंते, केवलज्ञानिनो ज्ञानं चेतयंते इति ।।३९।।
हिन्दी समय व्याख्या गाथा-३९ अन्वयार्थ—( सर्वे स्थावरकायाः ) सर्व स्थावर जीवसमूह ( खलु ) वास्तवमें ( कर्मफनं ) कर्मफलको वेदते हैं, ( त्रसा: ) त्रस ( हि ) वास्तवमें ( कार्ययुतम् ) कार्य ( कर्मचेतना ) पहित कर्मफन्नको वेदते हैं और ( प्राणित्वम् अतिक्रान्ताः ) जो प्राणित्वका ( प्राणोंका ) अतिक्रम कर गये है ( ते जीवा: ) वे जीव ( ज्ञानं ) ज्ञानको ( विंदन्ति ) वेदते हैं।
टीका—यहाँ, कौन क्या चेतता है ( अर्थात् किसी जीवको कौनसी चेतना होती है ) यह कहा है। ' चेतता है अनुभव करता है, उपलब्ध करता है और वेदता है-ये एकार्थ हैं क्योकि चेतना, अनुभूति, उपलब्धि और वेदनाका एक अर्थ है । वहाँ, स्थावर कर्मफलको चेतते हैं, त्रस कार्य ( कर्म चेतना) को चेतते हैं, केवलज्ञानी ज्ञानको चेतते हैं।
भावार्थ-पांच प्रकार के स्थावर जीव अव्यक्त सुखदुःखानुभवरूप शुभाशुभकर्मफलको चेतते हैं । द्वीन्द्रियादि त्रस उसी कर्मफलको इच्छापूर्वक इष्टानिष्ट विकल्परूप कार्य सहित चेतते है । परिपूर्ण ज्ञानवंत भगवन्त ( अनन्त सौख्य सहित ) ज्ञानको ही चेतते है ।।३९।।
