जीवों के मात्र क्षायिक सम्यक्त्व होता है। भव्यत्व मागणा की अपेक्षा भव्य जीव के तीनों सम्यक्त्व और अभव्य जीव के एक भी सम्यक्त्व नहीं होता है। सम्यक्त्व मार्गणा की अपेक्षा जहाँ जो सम्यग्दर्शन होता है वहाँ वहीं होता है। सामान्य से चतुर्थ गुणस्थान से सातवें गुणस्थान तक तीनों सम्यग्दर्शन होते हैं। आठवें से ग्यारहवें गुणस्थान तक
औपशमिक (द्वितीयोपशम) और भायिक सम्यक्त्व तथा उसके आगे केवल क्षायिक सम्यक्त्व ही होता है। संत्रीमार्गणा की अपेक्षा संज्ञी जीव के तीनों सम्यक्त्व होते हैं और असंज्ञी जीव के एक भी सम्यक्च नहीं होता है। आहारकमार्गणा की अपेक्षा आहारक और चतुर्थ गुणस्थानवी आहारक-अनाहारक जीवों के तीनों सम्यक्त्व तथा तेरहवें और चौदहवें गुणस्थानवर्ती अनाहारक जीवों
के केवल क्षायिक सम्यक्त्व होता है। २६२. प्रश्न : किस मार्गणा में कितने और कौन-कौन से
गुणस्थान होते हैं ? उत्तर : गतिमार्गणा की अपेक्षा नरकगति और देवगति में प्रारम्भ
के चार गुणस्थान होते हैं। तियंचगति में प्रारम्भ के पाँच गुणस्थान और मनुष्यगति में चौदह गुणस्थान होते हैं।
