प्रकृतिक और एक प्रकृतिक इस प्रकार कुल चार बंधस्थान होते
इनमें से आठ प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान में सब मूल प्रकृतियों का, सप्त प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान में आयुकर्म के विना सात का, छह प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान में आयु और मोहनीय कम के बिना छह का और एक प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान में सिर्फ एक वेदनीय कर्म का ग्रहण होता है । इसका तात्पर्य यह हुआ कि आयुकर्म का बंध करने वाले जीव के आठों कर्मों का, मोहनीय कर्म को बांधने वाले जीव के आठों का या आयु के बिना सात का; ज्ञानावरण, दर्शनावरण, नाम, गोत्र और अंतराय कर्म का बंध करने वाले जीव के आठ का, सात का या छह का तथा एक बेदनीय कर्म का बंध करने वाले जीव के आठ का, सात का छह का या एक वेदनीय कर्म का बंध होता है । __अब उक्त प्रकृतिक बंध करने वालों का कथन करते हैं।
आयुकर्म का बंध सातवें अप्रमत्तसंयत गुणस्थान तक होता है किन्तु मिश्र गुणस्थान में आयुबंध नहीं होने का नियम होने से मिश्र गुणस्थान के बिना शेष छह गुणस्थान वाले आयुबंध के समय आठ प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान के स्वामी होने हैं। मोहनीय कर्म का बंध नौवें गुणस्थान तक होता है अतः पहले से लेकर नौवें गुणस्थान तक के जीव सात प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान के स्वामी हैं । किन्तु जिनके आयुकर्म का भी बंध होता हो वे सात प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान के स्वामी नहीं होते
