सम्यक्त्व के प्राप्त होने पर अलब्ध पूर्व आत्महित की उपलब्धि होती है
मिनबए प्रोपे लहए सम्मत्तमोगसमियं सो।
लभेग बस्स लम्भर आपहियमलयपुवं जं ॥ यह प्रथम सम्यक्त्व का लाभ मिथ्यात्व के पूर्ण रूपेण उपशम से प्राप्त होता है और इसके प्राप्त करने वालों में से कोई देशविरत और कोई सर्वविरत होता है। अर्थात् सम्यक्त्व प्राप्ति के पश्चात् संयम लाभ के लिए प्रयास किया जाता है।
किन्तु इस प्रथमोपशम सम्यक्त्व से जीव उपशमणि पर न चढ़कर द्वितीयोपशम सम्यक्त्व से चढ़ता है। अत: उसके बारे में बताते हैं कि जो वेदक सम्यग्दृष्टि जीव अनन्तानुबन्धी कषाय चतुष्क और दर्शनमोहत्रिक का उपशम करके उपशमसम्यक्त्व को प्राप्त होता है, उसे द्वितीयोपशम सम्यक्त्व कहते हैं । इनमें से अनन्तानुबन्धी के उपशम होने का कथन तो पहले कर आये हैं । अब यहाँ दर्शनमोहनीय के उपशम होने की विधि को संक्षेप में बतलाते हैं। ___ जो वेदक सम्यग्दृष्टि जीव संयम में विद्यमान है, वह दर्शनमोहनीय की तीन प्रकृतियों का उपशम करता है। इसके यथाप्रवृत्तकरण आदि तीन करण पहले के समान जानना चाहिये किन्तु इतनी विशेषता है कि अनिवृत्तिकरण के संख्यात भागों के बीत जाने पर अन्तरकरण करते समय सम्यक्त्व की प्रथम स्थिति अन्तर्महुर्त प्रमाण स्थापित की जाती है, क्योंकि यह वेद्यमान प्रकृति है तथा सम्यग्मिथ्यात्व और मिथ्यात्व की प्रथम स्थिति आबलि प्रमाण स्थापित की जाती है क्योंकि वेदक सम्यग्दृष्टि के इन दोनों का उदय नहीं होता है । यहाँ इन तीनों प्रकृतियों के जिन दलिकों का अंतरकरण किया जाता है, उनका निक्षेप सम्यक्त्व की प्रथमस्थिति में होता है । १ क्रमप्रकृति, मा० ३३०
