सप्ततिका प्रकरण
निर्देश करते हुए कहा है- 'बन्धोदयसंतपय डिठाणाणं वोच्छ'-बंध,
उदय और सत्ता प्रकृति स्थानों का कथन किया जा रहा है। जिनके लक्षण इस प्रकार हैं- लोपिंड के प्रत्येक कण में जैसे अग्नि प्रविष्ट हो जाती है, वैसे ही कर्म-परमाणुओं का आत्मप्रदेशों के साथ परस्पर जो एक क्षेत्रावगाही सम्बन्ध होता है, उसे बंध कहते हैं ।" विपाक अवस्था को प्राप्त हुए कर्म - परमाणुओं के भोग को उदय कहते हैं ।" अंध समय से या संक्रमण समय से लेकर जब तक उन कर्म-परमाणुओं का अन्य प्रकृतिरूप से संक्रमण नहीं होता या जब तक उनकी निर्जरा नहीं होती, तब तक उनका बाला के साथ रहने की स कहते हैं । "
स्थान शब्द समुदायवाची है, अतः प्रकृतिस्थान पद से दो, तीन, आदि प्रकृतियों के समुदाय को ग्रहण करना चाहिए ।" ये प्रकृतिस्थान संध, उदय और सस्त्र के भेद से तीन प्रकार से हैं । जिनका इस ग्रन्थ में विवेचन किया जा रहा है ।
गाथा में आगत 'सुण' क्रियापद द्वारा ग्रन्थकार ने यह ध्वनिल किया है कि आचार्य शिष्यों को सम्बोधित एवं सावधान करके शास्त्र का व्याख्यान करें । क्योंकि बिना सावधान किये ही अध्ययन
