Sixth Karma Grantha
346
There are three, five, eleven, and four satthasthana (abodes). Their specific explanation is given below.
In the hellish alleys, there is the andhasthaana (abode of blindness).
In the Nargati (hell realm), there are two bandhasthaana (abodes of bondage) - the 26th and 30th Prakritika. Out of these, the 26th Prakritika bandhasthaana is applicable to both Tiryancagati (animal realm) and Manushyagati (human realm), and the 30th Prakritika bandhasthaana with Udyota (illumination) is applicable to Tiryancagati, and the 30th Prakritika bandhasthaana with Tirthankaras is applicable to Manushyagati.
In Tiryancagati, there are six bandhaman (abodes of bondage) - 23, 25, 26, 28, 26, and 30 Prakritika. Their explanation should be done here as well, similar to the previous ones, but with the specific difference that here, the 26th Prakritika bandhasthaana should not be said to be with Tirthankaras, and the 30th Prakritika bandhasthaana should not be said to be with Aharakadvika, because Tiryancas (animals) do not have the bondage of Tirthankaras and Aharakadvika.
The abodes in Manushyagati are - 23, 25, 26, 28, 26, 30, 31, and 1 Prakritika. Their explanation should also be done here similar to the previous ones.
In Devagati (celestial realm), there are four bandhasthaana - 25, 26, 26, and 30 Prakritika. Out of these, the 25 Prakritika bandhasthaana should be known for the devas who can bind the Prakritis suitable for Paryapta (developed), Badara (gross), and Pratyeka (individual) along with Ekendriya (one-sensed beings). Here, there are 8 bhangas (divisions) due to the alternatives of Sthira (stable), Asthira (unstable), Shubha (auspicious), Ashubha (inauspicious), Yashah-Kirti (fame), and Ayashah-Kirti (infamy). By adding the Atapa (radiance) or Udyota Prakriti to the said 25 Prakritika bandhasthaana, the 26 Prakritika bandhasthaana is formed. The 26 Prakritika bandhasthaana has 16 bhangas. The 26 Prakritika bandhasthaana can be of both Manushyagati-prayogya (applicable to human realm) and Tiryancagati-prayogya (applicable to animal realm) types.
