साता का बंध, असाता का उदय और साता-असाता की सत्ता चौथा भंग-साता का बंध, साता का उदय और साता-असाता की सत्ता, यह दो बिकल्प पहले मिथ्या दृष्टि गुणस्थान से लेकर तेरहवें सयोगिकेवली गुणस्थान तक पाये जाते हैं। इसके बाद बंध का अभाव हो जाने से पाँचा भंग-असाता का उदय और साता-असाता की सत्ता तथा छठा भंग--साता का उदय और साता-असाता दोनों की सत्ता, यह दो भंग अयोगि केवली गुणस्थान में द्विचरम समय तक प्राप्त होते हैं और चरम समय में सातवा भंग- असाता का उदय और असाता की सत्ता तथा आठवां भंग-साता का उदय और साता की सत्ता, यह दो भंग पाये जाते हैं।
सयोगिकेवली और अयोगिकेवली द्रव्यमन के सम्बन्ध से संजी कहे जाते हैं, अत: संज्ञी पंचेन्द्रिय पर्याप्त जीवस्थान में वेदनीय कर्म के आठ भंग मानने में किसी प्रकार का विरोध नहीं है।
इस प्रकार से वेदनीय कर्म के भंगों का कथन करके अब मोत्र कर्म के अंगों को बतलाते हैं कि 'सत्तग तिगं च गोए'-वे इस प्रकार हैं-- __ गोत्रकर्म के पर्याप्त संज्ञी पंचेन्द्रिय जीवस्थान में सात भंग प्राप्त होते हैं । वे सात भंग इस प्रकार हैं--१. नीच का बंध, नीच का उदय
