Pashtha Karmagram
In this way, in the six substantive abodes (sattasthana) of the four natural bondage-places (prakritika bandhasthana), there are 28, 24, 21, 11, 5, and 4 natural (prakritika) [substantive abodes], this has been established.
In each of the three, two, and one natural bondage-places, there are five substantive abodes (pancheva patteyam patteyam) - this is explained.
The five substantive abodes of the three natural bondage-places are: 28, 24, 21, 4, and 3 natural [substantive abodes]. It is certain everywhere that in each bondage-place, according to the subsidence-cum-destruction (upasamashreni) [of karmas], there are 28, 24, and 21 natural substantive abodes. Therefore, the remaining 4 and 3 natural substantive abodes should be understood according to the destruction (kshapakahreni) [of karmas].
Therefore, now the consideration here is with respect to the destruction (kshapakahreni) [of karmas]. In this regard, there is a rule that when there is one Avalika (unit) remaining in the Samjvalana-kosha (the fiery body), the bondage, rise, and suppression of the three [karmas] get severed simultaneously, and thereafter, three natural bondages occur. But at that time, except for the Sthitigata-dalika of one Avalika measure and the Samayaprabandha of two Avali less two time-units, the destruction of all others takes place.
