प्रत्याख्यानावरण कषाय चतुष्क का बंध पाँचवें देशविरति गुणस्थान तक होता है । अतः पूर्वोक्त तेरह प्रकृतियों में से प्रत्याख्यानावरण कषाय चतुष्क को कम कर देने पर छठवें सातवें और आठवें - प्रमत्तसंयत, अप्रमत्तसंयत और अपूर्वकरण- गुणस्थान में नो प्रकृतिक बन्धस्थान होता है । यद्यपि अरति-शोक युगल का बंध छठे गुणस्थान तक ही होता है, लेकिन सप्त और बाकी पूर्ति हास्य व रति से हो जाने के कारण नौ प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान ही रहता है।
हास्य, रति, भय और जुगुप्सा इन चार प्रकृतियों का बंध आठवें गुणस्थान के अंतिम समय तक होता है | अतः पूर्वोक्त नौ प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान में से इन चार प्रकृतियों को कम कर देने पर नौवें अनिवृत्तिबादर संपराय गुणस्थान के प्रथम भाग में पांच प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान होता है। दूसरे भाग में पुरुषवेद का बन्ध नहीं होता, अतः वहाँ चार प्रकृतिक, तीसरे भाग में संज्वलन क्रोध का बंध नहीं होता है अतः वहाँ तीन प्रकृतिक, चौथे भाग में संज्वलन मान का बंध नहीं होने से दो प्रकृतिक और पाँचवें भाग में संज्वलन माया का बंध नहीं होने से एक प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान होता है। इस प्रकार नौवें अनिवृत्तिबादर संपराय गुणस्थान के पांच भागों में पाँच प्रकृतिक, चार प्रकृतिक, तीन प्रकृतिक, दो प्रकृतिक और एक प्रकृतिक, ये पाँच बंधस्थान होते हैं ।
इसके आगे दसवें सूक्ष्मसंपराय गुणस्थान में एक प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान का भी अभाव है। क्योंकि वहाँ मोहनीय कर्म के बंध के कारणभूत बादर कपाय नहीं पाया जाता है। इस प्रकार मोहनीय कर्म की उत्तर प्रकृतियों के कुल दस बंधस्थान हैं ।
