सप्ततिका प्रकरण
__मोहनीय कर्म के दस बंधस्थानों में से पहला स्थान बाईस प्रकृतिक है। इसका कारण यह है कि तीन वेदों का एक साथ बंध नहीं होता है, किन्तु एक काल में एक ही वेद का बंध होता है। चाहे वह पुरुषवेद का हो, स्त्रीवेद का हो या नपुंसकवेद का हो तथा हास्य-रति युगल और अरति-शोक युगल, इन दोनों युगलों में से एक समय में एक युगल का बंध होगा। दोनों यगल एक साथ बंध को प्राप्त नहीं होते हैं। अत: छुब्बीस प्रकृतियों में से दो वेद और दो युगलों में से किसी एक युगल के कम करने पर बाईस प्रकृतियां शेष रहती हैं। इन बाईस प्रकृतियों का बंध मिथ्याइष्टि गुणस्थान में होता है। ___उक्त बाईस प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान में से मिथ्यात्व को कम कर देने पर इक्कीस प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान होता है। यह स्थान सासादन गुणस्थान में होता है। क्योंकि मिथ्यात्व का विच्छेद पहले मिथ्यात्व गुणस्थान में हो जाता है । यद्यपि दूसरे सासादन गुणस्थान में नपुंसकवेद का भी बंध नहीं होता है, लेकिन पुरुषवेद या स्त्रीवेद के बंध से उसकी पूर्ति हो जाने से संख्या इक्कीस ही रहती है । ___ अनन्तानुबन्धी कषाय चतुष्क का बन्ध दूसरे गुणस्थान तक ही होता है । अतः इक्कीस प्रकृतियों में से अनन्तानुबन्धी चतुष्क को वाम कर देने से मिश्र और अविरत सम्यग्दृष्टि-तीसरे, चौथे—गुणस्थान में सत्रह प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान प्राप्त होता है । यद्यपि इन गुणस्थानों में स्त्रीवेद का बंध नहीं होता है, तथापि पुरुषवेद का वहाँ बंध होते रहने से सत्रह प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान बन जाता है।
देशविरति गुणस्थान में तेरह प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान होता है । क्योंकि अप्रत्याख्यानावरण कषाय चतुष्क का बन्ध चौथे अविरत सभ्यग्दृष्टि गुणस्थान तक ही होता है । अतः सत्रह प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान में से अप्रत्याख्यानावरण चतुष्क को कम कर देने पर पांचवें देशविरत गुणस्थान में तेरह प्रकृतिक बंधस्थान प्राप्त होता है ।
