हैं, उनमें से थोड़े दलिक उदय समय में दाखिल कर दिये जाते है, उससे असंख्यातगुणे दलिक उदय समय से ऊपर के द्वितीय समय में दाखिल कर दिये जाते हैं, उससे असंख्यातगुणे दलिक तीसरे समय में, उससे असंख्यातगुणे दलिक क्रमशः चौथे, पांचवें आदि समयों में दाखिल कर दिये जाते हैं । इसी क्रम से अन्तर्मुहूर्त काल के अंतिम समय तक असंख्यातगुणे, असंख्यातगुणे दलिकों की स्थापना की जाती है। यह तो हुई प्रथम समय में गृहीत दलिकों के स्थापन करने की विधि । इसी प्रकार शेष दूसरे, तीसरे, चौथे आदि समयों में गृहीत दलिकों के निक्षेपण की विधि जानना चाहिये । यह क्रिया अन्तर्मुहूर्त काल के समयों तक ही होती रहती है।

सारांश यह है कि गुणश्र ेणि का काल अन्तर्मुहूर्त है, अतः अन्तर्मुहूर्त तक ऊपर की स्थिति में से कर्मदलिकों का प्रति समय ग्रहण किया जाता है और प्रति समय जो कर्मदलिक ग्रहण किये जाते है, उनका स्थापन असंख्यात गुणित क्रम से उदय क्षण से लेकर अन्तमुहूर्त काल के अन्तिम समय तक में कर दिया जाता है। जैसे कल्पना से अन्तर्मुहूर्त का प्रमाण १६ समय मान लिया जाये तो गुणश्रेणि के प्रथम समय में जो कर्मदलिक ग्रहण किये गये उनका स्थापन पूर्वोक्त प्रकार से १६ समयों में किया जायेगा। दूसरे समय में जो कर्मदलिक ग्रहण किये गये, उनका स्थापन बाकी के १५ समयों में ही होगा, क्योंकि पहले क्षण का वेदन हो चुका है। तीसरे समय में जो कर्मदलिक ग्रहण किये गये उनका स्थापन शेष चौदह समयों में ही होगा | इसी प्रकार से चौथे, पाँचवें आदि समयों के क्रम के बारे में समझना चाहिये, किन्तु ऐसा नहीं समझना चाहिये कि प्रत्येक समय में ग्रहीत दलिकों का स्थापन सोलह ही समयों में होता है और इस तरह गुणश्र ेणि का काल ऊपर की ओर बढ़ता जाता है । इस प्रकार अन्तर्मुहूर्त
