ऊपर तैजसशरीर आदि प्रायोग्य वर्गणाओं के स्कन्धों में केवल चार ही स्पर्श होते हैं
पञ्चरसपञ्चवणहि परिणमा अट्ठफास वो गंधा ।
जीयाहारगनोग्गा चउफासथिलेसिया जरि ।। अर्थात् जीव के ग्रहण योग्य औदारिक आदि वर्गणायें पांच रस, पांच वर्ण. आठ स्पर्श और दो गंध वाली होती हैं, किन्तु ऊपर की तंजस शरीर आदि के योग्य ग्रहण वर्गणायें चार स्पश वालो होती हैं ।
द्रव्यों के दो भेद हैं - गुरुलधुं और अगुरुलघु। इन दो भेदों में वर्गणाओं का बटवारा करते हा आवश्यक नियुक्ति में लिखा है
ओरालयदम्वियाहारयतेम गुरुलहूवरना ।
कम्मगपणभासाई एयाई अगुरुलाई ॥४१॥ औदारिक, वैक्रिय, आहारक और तेजस द्रव्य गृहलघु हैं और कार्मण, भाषा और मनोगव्य अग्रुलघु हैं। इन गुरुलघु और अगुरुलघु की पहिचान के लिये द्रध्यलोकप्रकाश सर्ग ११ श्लोक चौबीस' में लिखा है कि आठ स्पर्शवाला बादर रूपी द्रव्य गृहलघु होता है और चार स्पर्श वाले सूक्ष्म रूपी द्रव्य तथा अमुर्त आकाशादिक भी अगुरुलघु होते हैं। इसके अनुसार तंजस वगंणा के गुरुलघु होने से उसमें तो आठ स्पर्श सिद्ध होते हैं और उसके बाद की भापा, कर्म आदि वर्गओं के अगुरुलघु होने से उनमें चार स्पर्श माने जाते हैं ।
इस प्रकार से अभी तक जीव द्वारा ग्रहण किये जाने वाले कर्मस्कन्धों के स्वरूप की एक विशेषता बतलाई है कि 'अन्तिम चउफास

In the categories of the Taijas-sharira and above, there are only four touches.

**"Pancharaspanchavanhi parinama atthaphass vo gandha. Jiyahaarganogga chaufasthilesiya jari."**
