दसवें गुणस्थानवर्ती क्षपक उस गुणस्थान के चरमसमय में करता है। क्योंकि इनके बंधकों में वही सबसे विशुद्ध है।
मूक्ष्मत्रिक (सूक्ष्म, साधारण, अपर्याप्त नामकम), विकलत्रिक, चार आयु और वैक्रियषटक (बक्रिय शरीर, त्रैकिय अंगोपांग, देवगति, देवानुपूर्वी, नरकगति, नरकानुपूर्वी), इन सोलह प्रकृतियों के जघन्य अनुभाग के स्वामी मनुष्य और तिर्यंच हैं । इन सोलह प्रकृतियों में ते मनुष्यायु और तिर्यंचायु के सिवाय चौदह प्रकृतियों को तो देव व नारक जन्म से ही नहीं बांधते हैं तथा मनुष्य और तिर्यंच आयु का जघन्य अनुभाग बंध जघन्य स्थितिबंध के साथ ही होता है। क्योंकि ये दोनों प्रशस्त प्रकृतियां हैं अतः इनका जघन्य अनुभाग बंध तो संक्लेश परिणामों से होता ही है किन्तु जघन्य स्थितिबंध भी संक्लेश परिणामों से होता है । देव और नारक जघन्य स्थिति वाले मनुष्य
और तिर्यचों में उत्पन्न नहीं होते हैं, अतः वे इनका जघन्य बंध नहीं करते हैं । अर्थात् इन दो प्रकृतियों का जो जघन्य स्थितिबंध करता है वही उनका जघन्य अनुभाग बंध भी करता है। इसलिये सूक्ष्मत्रिक आदि सोलह प्रकृतियों के जघन्य अनुभाग बंध का स्वामी मनुष्य और तिर्यंच को बतलाया है। उद्योत और औदारिकट्टिक इन तीन प्रकृतियों का जघन्य अनुभाग बंध देव और नारक करते हैं। इसमें इतना विशेष समझना चाहिये कि औदारिक अंगोपांग का जघन्य अनुभाग बंध ईशान स्वर्ग से ऊपर के वैमानिक देव करते हैं | क्योंकि ईशान स्वर्ग तक के देव उत्कृष्ट संक्लेश के होने पर एकेन्द्रिययोग्य प्रकृतियों का बंध करते हैं और एकेन्द्रियों को अंगोपांग नहीं होते हैं । अतः ईशान स्वर्ग तक के देवों के औदारिक अंगोपांग नामकर्म का जघन्य अनुभाग बंध नहीं होता है।
