१७६ है। जिससे उत्कृष्ट स्थितिबंध में भी सादि और अध्रुव यह दो विकल्प होते हैं।
उत्कृष्ट बंध के बाद अनुत्कृष्ट बंध होता है । इसीलिये वह सादि है और कम से कम अन्तमुहूर्त के बाद और अधिक से अधिक अनन्त उत्सर्पिणी ब अवसर्पिणी काल के बाद उत्कृष्ट बंध होने से अनुत्कृष्ट बंध रुक जाता है, जिससे उसे अध्रुव कहा जाता है। यानी उत्कृष्ट बंध यदि हो तो लगातार अधिक-से-अधिक अन्तमुहर्त तक होता है और अनुत्कृष्ट बंध लगातार अधिक-से-अधिक अनन्त उत्सर्पिणी और अवसर्पिणी काल तक होता है और उसके बाद दोनों एक दूसरे का स्थान ले लेते हैं, अतः दोनों सादि और अध्रुव हैं ।
इस प्रकार सात कर्मों के उत्कृष्ट, अनुत्कृष्ट और जघन्य इन तीनों बंधों में सादि और अध्रुव यह दो ही भंग होते हैं । ____ आयुकर्म के उत्कृष्ट, अनुत्कृष्ट, जघन्य, अजघन्य मे चारों बंध होते हैं। लेकिन इन चारों में सादि और अध्रुव यही दो विकल्प हैंआउचउसु दुहा । क्योंकि आयुकर्म का बंध अन्य सात कर्मों की तरह निरन्तर नहीं होता रहता है किन्तु नियत समय पर होता है । जिससे वह सादि है और उसका बंधकाल भी अन्तमुहूर्त प्रमाण है, अन्तमुहूर्त के बाद वह नियम से रुक जाता है, जिससे वह अध्रुव है । इस प्रकार से आठों कर्मों के उत्कृष्ट आदि चारों बंधों में सादि आदि विकल्प जानना चाहिए।' १ (क) सतण्हं अजहन्नो चउहा ठिबंध मूलपगईणं ।

**176.** Even in the state of **utkrista bandha** (highest bondage), there are two possibilities: **sadi** (continuous) and **adhruva** (non-continuous).

After **utkrista bandha**, there is **anutkrista bandha** (lowest bondage). Therefore, it is **sadi** because it continues for at least one **antmuhurt** (a very short period of time) and at most for an infinite **utsarpini** (ascending) and **avsarpiini** (descending) time cycle.
