The bondage state (bandhasthana) consists of thirty-two prakritis (intrinsic natures) including jati (species), vaikriya-sarira (transformable body), prathama-sthana (first abode), devanupurvi (celestial birth-group), vaikriya-angopanga (transformable limbs and organs), sushvara (melodious voice), shubha-vihayogati (auspicious mode of movement), ucchvasa (respiration) and parighata (impact). The being in this state becomes a deva (celestial being) after death.
In comparison to the nargati (hell-state), the bondage state of twenty-eight prakritis includes nada (sound), vadara (coarse), paryapta (complete), pratyeka (individual), asthira (unstable), ashubha (inauspicious), durbhaga (unfortunate), anadeyya (unworthy of respect), ayashahkirti (ill-repute), naragati (hell-state), panchendriya-jati (five-sensed species), vaikriya-sarira, hunda-samsthana (womb-born abode), narakanuparvi (infernal birth-group), vaikriya-angopanga, duhsvara (discordant voice), ashubha-vihayogati (inauspicious mode of movement), ucchvasa and parighata.

Shatakas (Hundreds)
The bondage state consists of twenty-nine prakritis including no-dhruva-bandhini (not firmly bound), tatha (thus), bhadara (coarse), paryapta (complete), pratyeka (individual), sthira (stable) or asthira (unstable), shubha (auspicious) or ashubha (inauspicious), durbhanga (unfortunate), anadeyya (unworthy of respect), yashahkirti (fame) or ayashahkirti (ill-repute), tiryancagati (animal-state), dvindirya-jati (two-sensed species), audārika-śarīra (gross body), hunda-samsthana (womb-born abode), tiryancānupūrvī (animal birth-group), sevā-saṃhanana (service-body), audārika-aṅgopāṅga (gross limbs and organs), duhsvara (discordant voice), ashubha-vihāyogati (inauspicious mode of movement), ucchvāsa (respiration), and parighāta (impact).
In this, by replacing dvindirya (two-sensed) with trindirya (three-sensed), trindirya with caturindriya (four-sensed), and caturindriya with panchendriya (five-sensed), the bondage states of nindirya-yukta (devoid of senses), caturindriya, and panchendriya-yukta (five-sensed) twenty-nine prakritis are obtained respectively.
It should be understood that in this state, one prakrti each from the pairs of subhaga (auspicious) and durabhanga (unfortunate), adeyya (worthy of respect) and anadeyya (unworthy of respect), sushvara (melodious voice) and duhsvara (discordant voice), prachasta (excellent) and aprachasta (inferior) vihāyogati (mode of movement), as well as one samsthana (abode) out of the six samsthanas and one samhanana (body-making) out of the six samhananas, is bound. By excluding tiryancagati (animal-state) and tiryancānupūrvī (animal birth-group) and including manushyagati (human-state) and manushyānupūrvī (human birth-group), the bondage state of twenty-nine prakritis with paryapta manushya (complete human) is obtained.
