(२)-मार्गणाओं में गुणस्थान ।
[ पाँच गाया में । ]
पतिरि चर सुरनरए, नरसंनिपणिदिममवतसि सम्वे । इगविगल भूदगवणे, दु द एगं गइतसमध्चे ॥१६॥ पञ्च तिरचि चत्वारि सुरनर के, नरसंज्ञिपञ्चेन्द्रियभव्यास सर्वाणि । एकविकलभूदकवने हे हे एक गति प्रसाभव्ये ॥ १६ ।।
अर्घ-तिपंचगति में पांच गुणस्थान हैं। देव तथा नरकगति में घार गुणस्थान हैं । मनुष्यगति, संत्री, पञ्चेनियबाप्ति, भय और त्रसकाय, इन पांच मार्गणाओं में सब गुणस्थान हैं । एकेन्द्रिय, विकलेन्द्रिय, पृथ्वी काय, अलकाय और वनस्पतिकाय में पहला और दूसरा, ये दो गुणस्थान हैं । गसिस (तंज:काय और बायकाय) और अभश्य में एक ( पहला । ही गुणस्थान है |॥ १६ ॥
भावार्थ--तियश्वगति में पहले पाँच गुणस्थान हैं। क्योंकि उसमें जाति-स्वभाव से सर्व विरतिका संभव नहीं होता और सर्वधिति के सिवाय छके आदि गुणस्थानों का संभव नहीं है।
वेवगति और नरकगति में पहले चार गुणस्थान माने जाने का सषय यह है कि देव या नारक, स्वभाव से ही विरतिरहित होते हैं और विति के बिमा अन्य गुणस्थानों का संभव नहीं है।
मनुष्य गति आदि उपयुक्त पाँच मार्गणाओं में हर प्रकार के परिमानों के संभव होने के कारण सब गणस्थान पाये जाते हैं।
