प्रकृतियों का बन्ध पहले गुणस्थान के अन्तिम समय तक, जब तक मिध्यात्वमोहनीय का उदय है, हो सकता है, दूसरे गुणस्थान के समय नहीं । इसलिए पहले गुणस्थान में जिन ११७ कर्म प्रकृतियों का बन्ध माना गया है, उनमें से नरकत्रिक आदि उक्त सोलह प्रकृतियों को छोड़कर शेष १०१ कर्मप्रकृतियों का बन्ध दूसरे गुणस्थान में होता है ।
गाथा में 'तिरिथोणदुहगति पत्र में गिनाई गई प्रकृतियों का बन्धविच्छेद दूसरे गुणस्थान में होता है । इनके अतिरिक्त दूसरे गुणस्थान में अन्य बन्धव्युच्छित होने वाली प्रकृतियों के नाम एवं तीसरे गुणस्थान की बन्धयोग्य प्रकृतियों की संख्या आगे की गाथा में बतलाते हैं । अणमज्झागिइ संघयणचज, निउज्जोयकुखगद्दस्थिति । पणवीसंतो मीसे चरि आजय अबन्धा ॥५॥
गाथार्थ - अनन्तानुबन्धीचतुष्क, मध्यम संस्थानचतुष्क, मध्यमसंहननचतुष्क, नीचगोल, उद्योतनाम, अशुभविहायो गतिनाम और स्त्रीवेद इन २५ प्रकृतियों का बन्धविच्छेद दूसर गुणस्थान के अन्त में होता है तथा आयुद्विक अबन्ध होने से मिश्र गुणस्थान ( सम्यमथ्यादृष्टि गुणस्थान) में ७४ कर्मप्रकृतियों का बन्ध होता है ।
विशेषार्थ - दूसरे गुणस्थान में बन्धयोग्य १०१ प्रकृतियाँ तथा उसके अन्त समय में व्युच्छिन्न होने वाली २५ प्रकृतियाँ हैं। इन व्युखिन्न होने वाली २५ प्रकृतियों के नामों के लिए पूर्व गाथा में 'तिरिथीण दुहगत्तिगं' पद से तिर्यंचत्रिक, स्त्यानद्धित्रिक और दुर्भगत्रिक इन नौ प्रकृतियों के नाम तथा इस गाथा में अनन्तानुबन्धचतुष्क से लेकर स्त्रीवेद पर्यन्त सोलह प्रकृतियों के नाम बताये हैं ।
