५१ भावकर्म के अनुसार फिर नवीन कर्मों का बन्ध होता रहता है। इस प्रकार द्रव्यकर्म से भाबकर्म और भावकर्म से द्रव्यकर्म का बन्ध, ऐसी कार्यकारणभाव की अनादि परम्परा चली आ रही है।
किसी खास गुणस्थान और किसी खास जीव की विवक्षा किये बिना बन्धयोग्य कर्मप्रकृतियाँ १२० मानी जाती हैं। इसलिए १२० कर्मप्रकृतियों के बन्ध को सामान्यबन्ध या ओघबन्ध कहते हैं ।
यद्यपि कोई एक जीव किसी भी अवस्था में एक समय में कर्मपुद्गलों को १२० रूप में परिणमित नहीं कर सकता है । अर्थात १२० कर्मप्रकृतियों को नहीं बांध सकता है। पर बने नोच एक समय में १२० कर्मप्रकृतियों को बाँध सकते हैं। इसी तरह एक जीव भी जुदीजुदी अवस्थाओं में पृथक्-पृथक समय सब मिलाकर १२० कर्मप्रकृतियों को बाँध सकता है । क्योंकि जीव के मिथ्यात्वादि परिणामों के अनुसार कार्मणपुद्गल १२० प्रकार में परिणत हो सकते हैं । इसी से १२० कमप्रकृतियाँ बन्धयोग्य मानी जाती हैं ।
बन्धयोग्य १२० कर्मप्रकृतियों के मूल कर्मों के नाम और उनकी उत्तरप्रकृतियों की संख्या इस प्रकार है
(१) ज्ञानावरण के ५ भेद (२) दर्शनावरण के ह भेद (३) वेदनीय के २ भेद (४) मोहनीय के २६ भेद (५) आय के भेद (६) नाम के ६७ भेद (७) गोत्र के भेद
