इस महान् कार्य के पूर्ण होने में परम पूज्य आचार्यकल्पश्री श्रुतसागरजी महाराज तथा मूल-प्रेरणास्रोत पूज्य आर्यिकारत्न श्री ज्ञानमतीमाताजीकी महदनुकम्पा एवं मंगलआशीर्वाद ही मुख्यकारण रहे हैं, क्योंकि इस महान् कार्यको पूर्ण करनेमें मैं सक्षम नहीं थी। यदि उक्त उभय त्यागीजरका आशीर्वाद मेरा लम्बल नहीं होता तो मुझसे इस कार्यकी सम्पूर्ति होना अत्यन्त कठिन था। इस महायज्ञमें मुख्तार सा. श्री रतनचन्दजीके कठिन परिश्रमको भी नहीं भूला जा सकता है। '७६ वर्षीय इस वृद्धावस्थामें उनकी कार्य करनेकी अपूर्वनिष्ठा एवं लगन अनुकरणीय है। परम पूज्य उभय महाराजश्री एवं माताजीके प्रति अपनी कृतज्ञताभिव्यक्ति पुरस्सर उनके चरणोंमें अपनी विनय प्रकर, करती हुई उनके चिरकाल तक इसी शुभाशीर्वादके बने रहने की सदैव कामना करती हूँ । साथ ही, मुख्तार सा. के प्रति भी वीरप्रभुसे मंगलकामना करती हूँ कि वे चिरायु हों तथा इसीप्रकार जिनवाणीकी सेवा करते रहें। ग्रन्ध-प्रकाशनसम्बन्धी सम्पूर्ण व्यवस्था आचार्यकल्पश्री के संघस्थ ब्र. लाड़मलजीने की है. जिनलगाके प्रचार-प्रगामें हम वृद्धावस्थामें आपमें जो लगन है, वह युवा जैसी लगतो है। उनके प्रति भी मेरा शुभाशीर्वाद है कि वे दीर्घायु होकर सतत जिनवाणी सेवा एवं उसके प्रचार-प्रसारमें निरत रहें। विज्ञेषु किमधिकम् । प्रस्तुत नवीन संस्करण :
गोम्मटसार कर्मकाण्ड के इस नवीन संस्करण के संशोधन का कार्य पण्डित जवाहरलाल जी सिद्धान्तशास्त्री ने रुग्ण होनेपर भी करना प्रारंभ किया था किन्तु बहुत कुछ प्रयास करने पर भी वे इस ग्रन्ध के ८३ पृष्ठों का ही संशोधन कर सके। उन्होंने यथास्थान कुछ टिप्पण भी दिये। परन्तु अपने गिरते स्वास्थ्य के कारण वे पूरे ग्रन्ध का संशोधन नहीं कर सके। वे स्वस्थ रहें. उनके द्वारा जिनवाणी का उद्धार एवं प्रचारप्रसार हो ; पंडित जी दीर्घायु हों, यही मेरी भावना है।
इस संस्करण के सम्पादक डॉ. चेतनप्रकाश जी पाटनी हैं। इन्होंने अनेक ग्रन्थों का संशोधन एवं सम्पादन किया है। आपको जिनवाणी के प्रकाशन की विशेष अभिरुचि है। आपके माध्यम से अनेक भहत्त्वपूर्ण कृतियां प्रकाशित हुई हैं और हो रही हैं। मेरी यही भावना एवं आशीर्वाद है कि ये स्वस्थ रह कर सतत जिनवाणी माता की सेवा करके सभ्यग्ज्ञान की गरिमा को बढ़ाते रहें।

This new edition:

The work of revising this new edition of Gommatasar Karmakand was started by Pandit Jawaharlalji Siddhanta Shastri even when he was ill, but despite much effort, he was only able to revise 83 pages of this book. He also gave some notes in their respective places. But due to his declining health, he could not revise the entire book. May he remain healthy. May he uplift and propagate Jinvani through his work; may Panditji live long, this is my wish.

The editor of this edition is Dr. Chetan Prakashji Patni. He has revised and edited many books. You have a special interest in the publication of Jinvani. Through you, many important works have been published and are being published. My wish and blessing is that you may remain healthy and continue to serve Jinvani Mata, enhancing the dignity of civilized knowledge.
