परिणामस्वरूप माताजीने मुझे प्रेरणा दो। मुझे भी उनकी इस महदनुकम्पा एवं आदेशात्मक आशीर्वादको पाकर प्रसन्नता हुई तथा स्वयं माताजीसे इस महत्तमकार्यका मंगलाचरण-पूर्वक शुभारम्भ करवाकर अनुवाद लिखना प्रारंभ किया। उनके निर्देशनमें ही यह कार्य लगभग आधा हो चुका था, तत्पश्चात् कारण पाकर सन् १९७५ में माताजीका सान्निध्य छूट गया और अनेक कारणों से अनुवादकार्य भी बन्द हो गया। सन् १९७६ में जब परम पूज्य आचार्य श्री धर्मसागरजी महाराज एवं आचार्यकल्पश्री श्रुतसागरजी महाराजका ससंघ चातुर्मास बड़ौत (उ.प्र.) में था तब एक दिन आर्यिका श्रुतमतीजी (जो ज्ञानमती माताजीसे प्रेरणा पाकर सन् १९७४ में आचार्य श्री धर्मसागरजीसे आर्यिका दीक्षा ग्रहणकर चुकी थीं) ने विशेष आग्रह पूर्वक कहा कि “माताजी ! अम्मा (ज्ञानमतीजी) ने नजफगढ़में आपको जो जिनवाणो-सेवा का कार्य सौंपा था वह अधूरा ही रहेगा क्या ?" श्रुतमतीजी के इस वाक्यको सुनकर अन्त:करणमें प्रेरणा मिली और कार्य पुनः प्रारम्भ हुआ। सन् १९७७ के पदनगंज-किशनगढ़ चातुर्मासमें इस महत्कार्यकी सम्पति हई. क्योंकि जिस आर्यकी प्रेरणा परमोपकारिणी माताजीसे मिली हो और फिर जिसका मंगलाचरण स्वयं उन्होंने किया हो, वह कार्य अधूरा कैसे रहे सकता था !
मदनगंज-किशनगढ़के चातुर्मासके पश्चात् परम पूज्य १०८ आचार्य श्री धर्मसागरजी महाराज का ससंघ बिहार अजमेरकी ओर हुआ, आचार्यकल्प श्री श्रुतसागरजी महाराज भी साथ हो थे। अजमेर पहुँचनेपर मैंने व श्रुतमतोजीने अभीक्ष्णस्वाध्यायनिरत, वात्सल्यमूर्ति, करप्यानुयोगमर्मज्ञ, श्रुतनिधि परम पूज्य आचार्यकल्पश्री श्रुतसागरजी महाराज से गोम्मटसारकर्मकाण्ड की लिखी गई नवीन टीका का अवलोकन करने हेतु विनम्र प्रार्थना की। पूज्य महाराजश्री ने प्रार्थना को स्वीकार किया और महतो कृपा करके टीकाको देखना प्रारम्भ किया। टीका की वाचना के लिए जब मैंने पूज्य मुनि श्री वर्धमानसागरजी महाराजसे निवेदन किया तो वे भी सहर्ष इस कार्य में संलग्न हो गये। इसप्रकार आचार्यकत्पश्री के समक्ष जन लगभग १५० गाथाओंका वाचन हो चुका तो पूज्य महाराजश्रीने हार्दिक भावना व्यक्त की कि इस टीकाको पं. रतनचन्दजी मुख्तार सा, देखेंगे तो और भी सुन्दर होगा, क्योंकि वर्तमानमें वे करणानुयोगके विशिष्ट विद्वान् हैं । इसी भावनाभिव्यक्ति के साथ महाराजश्री ने यथाशीघ्र पंडितजी के पास पत्र द्वारा समाचार दिलवाया, उनकी सहर्ष स्वीकृति आ जानेपर
के पास वे १५० गाथाएँ भेज दी गई तथा आगेका कार्य महाराजश्रीक सानिध्य में बथावत् चलता रहा। लगभग ३०० गाथा पर्यंत कार्य हुआ होगा कि आचार्यशल्पश्री का एवं अजितसागरादि ६ मुनिराज का ससंघ चातुर्मास आनन्दपुरकालू (राज.) में होना निश्चित हुआ। सन् १९७८ के इस चातुर्मास्लम मुख्तार सा. स्वयं आचार्यकल्पश्री के सान्निध्यमें आये और यहाँ टीका का आद्यंत वाचन परम पूज्य महाराजश्री के सान्निध्यमें मुनि श्री वर्धमानसागरजी महाराजके सहयोग चला। पंडितजीने यथास्थान संशोधन-परिवर्धनके लिये अपने अनुपम सुझाव देकर धवल, जयधवलादि महान् ग्रन्थोंका आधार लेकर टीका को परिष्कृत किया है। साथ हो इस नवीन टीका का सिद्धान्तज्ञानदीपिका यह नाम भी सुझााया अतः आपके सुझावानुसार टीकाका उक्त नाम ही रखा गया है।
टीका का आयंत वाचन हो जानेपर परिष्कृत एवं संशोधित टीका की प्रेसकॉपी बनानेका भार स्वरुच्या मुनिश्री वर्धमानसागरजी ने अपने ऊपर लिया तथा लगभग ७-८ माहके अहर्निश कठोर परिश्रमसे

Upon reaching Ajmer, I and Shrutamatiji humbly requested the ever-studying, embodiment of affection, expert in Karpya Anuyog, Shruta Nidhi, Param Pujya Acharya Kalpshri Shruta Sagarji Maharaj to see the newly written commentary of Gommatasar Karmakand. Pujya Maharaj Shri accepted the request and graciously started looking at the commentary. When I requested Pujya Muni Shri Vardhaman Sagarji Maharaj to read the commentary, he also readily joined this work. In this way, almost 150 verses were read in front of Acharya Kalpshri, then Pujya Maharaj Shri expressed his heartfelt feelings that if Pandit Ratnachandji Mukhtar Sa. would see this commentary, it would be even more beautiful, because he is a distinguished scholar of Karan Anuyog in the present time. With this expression of feelings, Maharaj Shri immediately sent news to Panditji by letter, upon receiving his ready consent,
those 150 verses were sent to him and the further work continued in the presence of Maharaj Shri. The work would have been done up to about 300 verses when it was decided that the Sangh of Acharya Kalpshri and 6 Muni Rajas including Ajit Sagar would have Chaturmas in Anandpur Kalu (Raj.). In this Chaturmas of 1978, Mukhtar Sa. himself came in the presence of Acharya Kalpshri and here the reading of the commentary from beginning to end was done in the presence of Param Pujya Maharaj Shri with the help of Muni Shri Vardhaman Sagarji Maharaj. Panditji has refined the commentary by giving his unique suggestions for correction and addition, taking the basis of great texts like Dhaval, Jayadhavala etc. Along with this, he also suggested the name of this new commentary as Siddhanta Gyandeepika, therefore, according to your suggestion, the commentary has been named as such.
