अर्थ- गुणहानि के प्रथमादिनिषेकों का अन्तिमखण्ड अन्तिमनिषेकों के अन्तिमखण्ड पर्यन्त निरन्तर एक-एक चय अधिक होने से परस्पर में असदृश हैं और शक्ति की अपेक्षा अपने से अधस्तन अन्तिमखण्ड के उत्कृष्टस्थानसे उपरितन अन्तिमखण्डका जघन्यस्थान अनन्तगुणा है।
आगे उसीका कारण कहते हैं -
हेमिखंडुक्कस्सं, उव्वंकं होदि उवरिमजहणणं । अट्ठकं होदि तदोणंतगुणं उवरिमजहणणं ।। ९५९ ॥
अर्थ - जिसकारण तिर्यगुरूप रचनायें ऊपर-ऊपर लिखे हुए खण्डोंमें अपनेसे अधस्तनखण्डका उत्कृष्ट अध्यवसाय स्थान पूर्वस्थान से 'ऊर्वह'- अनन्तभागवृद्धिको लिये हुए है तथा अधस्तनखंडके उत्कृष्टसे उपरितनखंडका जघन्य अध्यवसायस्थान 'अष्टाङ्क'- अनन्तगुणवृद्धिको लिये है। इसकारण से अधस्तनखंडके उत्कृष्टसे उपरितनखण्डका जघन्यस्थान अनन्तगुणा कहा है।

अर्थ-जघन्यस्थितिके कारणरूप अध्यवसायस्थानोंके प्रथमखण्ड और उत्कृष्ट-स्थितिके कारणरूप अध्यवसायस्थानोंके अन्तिमखंड ये दोनों तो निर्वर्ग हैं अर्थात् किसी भी खण्डसे सर्वथा समान नहीं हैं और शेष सर्वखण्ड ऊर्ध्वरचनाके द्वारा अन्यखण्डोंके समान हैं।
अपि य एवं, आउजहण्णडिदिस्स वरखंडं ।
जावय तावय खंडा, अणुकट्टिपदे विसेसहिया ।।९६१ ।।
तत्तो उवरिमखंडा, सगसगउक्कस्सगोत्ति सेसाणं ।
सव्वे टिदियणखंडा ऽसंखेज्जगुणक्कमा तिरिये ॥ ९६२ ॥ जुम्मं ।।
अर्थ- आठों कर्मोकी अनुकृष्टिरचना समान है अर्थात् जैसी मोहनीयकर्मकी अनुकृष्टिरचना कही गई है वैसी ज्ञानावरणादिकमोंकी भी जानना, किन्तु आयुकर्मकी तिर्यगुचनामें जधन्यस्थितिबन्धक कारणभूत अध्यवसायस्थानों की अनुकृष्टिरचनामें प्रत्येकखण्ड चयकरि विशेष अधिक है। उससे आगे उत्कृष्ट खण्ड से ऊपर की स्थिति के खण्ड अपने-अपने उत्कृष्ट खण्ड पर्यन्त तथा शेष स्थितियों के अपने-अपने जघन्य खण्ड से अपने-अपने उत्कृष्ट खण्ड पर्यन्त सब तिर्यक् रचना रूप असंख्यात गुणेअसंख्यात गुणे हैं।
