णत्थि य सत्तपदत्था, णियदीदो कालदो तिपंतिभवा। चोइस इदि णत्थित्ते अक्विरियाणं च चुलसीदी॥८८५॥ जुम्मं ।
अर्थ – सर्वप्रथम 'नास्ति' पद लिखना, उसके ऊपर 'स्वसे' व 'परसे' ये दो पद लिखना चाहिए। उनके ऊपर पुण्य-पापके बिना सातपदार्थ लिखना, इनके ऊपर कालादि ५ पद लिखना चाहिए। इसप्रकार चारपंक्तियोंका परस्पर गुणा करनेपर १४२४७५५-७० भंग तथा एकबार पुनः 'नास्ति' पद लिखना, उसके ऊपर सातपदार्थ लिखने, उनके ऊपर नियति व काल ये दो पद लिखना, इसप्रकार तीनपंक्तियोंका गुणा करनेसे (१४७४२) १४ भंग होते हैं सो इनको उपर्युक्त ७० भंगोंमें जोड़नेसे (७०+१४) ८४ भंग अक्रियावादियोंके होते हैं।

नास्ति विशेषार्थ - जीव स्वत: कालसे नास्ति किया जाता है, जीव परत: कालसे नास्ति किया जाता है। इसीप्रकार जीवके स्थानपर अजीवादि कहनेपर १४ भंग एक कालमें हुए तथा कालके स्थानपर ईश्वरादि कहनेपर ७० भंग होते हैं तथा जीव-नियति से नास्ति किया जाता है, जीव कालसे नास्ति किया जाता है एवं जीवके स्थानपर अजीवादि कहनेपर १४ भेद होते हैं। इसप्रकार सर्वमिलकर (७०+१४) ८४ भंग अक्रियावादियों के होते हैं। अक्रियावादी वस्तुको नास्तिरूप मानकर क्रियाका स्थापन नहीं करता है। अथानन्तर अज्ञानवाद के भङ्ग कहते हैं
