आगे उद्वेलनाके योग्य कालको कहते हैं
वेदगजोग्गे काले आहारं उवसमस्स सम्मत्तं ।
सम्मामिच्छं चेगे वियले वेगुव्वछक्कं तु॥६१४॥ अर्थ - वेदकसम्यक्त्वके योग्यकालमें आहारकद्विककी, उपशमकालमें सम्यक्त्व और सम्यग्मिथ्यात्वप्रकृतिकी उद्वेलना करता है तथा वैक्रियकषट्ककी उद्वेलना एकेन्द्रिय व विकलेन्द्रियपर्यायमें करता है। अब उपर्युक्त गाथामें कथित दोनों कार्लोका स्वरूप कहते हैं
उदधिपुधत्तं तु तसे पल्लासंखूणमेगमेयखे।
जाव य सम्म मिस्सं वेदगजोग्गो य उवसमस्स तदो॥६१५॥ अर्थ – सम्यक्त्व और सम्यग्मिथ्यात्वप्रकृतिकी स्थिति घटकर त्रस जीवके तो जब पृथक्त्वसागरप्रमाण शेष रहे तथा एकेन्द्रियके पल्यके असंख्यातवें भागकम एकसागर प्रमाण शेष रहने तक "वेदक योग्यकाल" है और यदि सत्तारूप स्थिति उससे भी कम हो जावे तो वह उपशम काल होता है।
१.I.शंका-सम्बक्त्वप्रकृति और मिश्रप्रकृति की पृथक्वसागर स्थिति अच्छे परिणामोंसे होती है या बुरे परिणामों से? इससे पूर्व कितनी स्थिति होती है ? पृथक्त्वसागर की स्थिति क्या प्रथमगुप्पस्थान में होती है और अगर ऐसा है तो क्या मिथ्यात्व का बन्ध भी इतना ही होता है। समाधान-प्रथमोपशम सम्यक्त्व के अभिमुख मिथ्यादृष्टिजीव के पाँच लब्धियाँ होती हैं। १. क्षयोपशमलब्धि, २. विशुद्धिलब्धि. ३. देशनालब्धि, ४. प्रायोग्यलब्धि,५.करणलब्धि । इनमें से चौथी प्रायोग्यलब्धि वाला जीव आयु के बिना शेष सात कर्मों की स्थिति को घटाकर अंत:कोड़ाकोड़ीसागर प्रमाण कर देता है। श्री लब्धिसार ग्रंथ में कहा भी है
अंतोकोडाकोडी विट्ठाणे, ठिदिरसाण जं करणं ।
पाउग्गलद्धिणामा, भव्वाभब्बेसुसामण्णा ||७|| अर्थात्-स्थिति को अंत:कोड़ाकोड़ीसागर और अनुभाग को द्विस्थानिक करना इसका नाम प्रायोग्यलब्धि है। यह भव्य और अभव्य दोनों के हो सकती है।
