विशेषार्थ- (अप्रशस्तसंस्थान और संहनन, दुर्भग, दुःस्वर, अनादेय व अप्रशस्तविहायोगतिकी बन्धव्युच्छित्ति सासादनगुणस्थानमें हो जानेसे मात्र प्रशस्तप्रकृतियोंका ही बन्ध होता है अतएव संस्थान, संहनन आदिकी अपेक्षासे भङ्ग नहीं होते हैं।)
मिथ्यात्वादि गुणस्थानोंमें दवगतिसंयुक्त बन्धस्थानोंमें प्रशस्तप्रकृतियोंका ही बन्ध होता है, किन्तु अस्थिर-अशुभ और अयशस्कीर्तिका बन्ध प्रमत्तगुणस्थानपर्यन्त होनेसे इन तीन युगलोंकी अपेक्षा (२x२x२) ८ भङ्ग सम्भव हैं। अप्रमत्त और अपूर्वकरणगुणस्थानमें देवगतिसहित २८-२९-३० और ३१ प्रकृतिक बन्धस्थानमें अप्रशस्तप्रकृतियोंका बन्ध नहीं होने से एक-एक ही भा है। जीवोंकी गति-आगतिका कथन ६ गाथाओंमें करते हैं
णेरयियाणं गमणं, सण्णीपजत्तकम्मतिरियणरे ।
चरमचऊ तित्थूणे, तेरिच्छे चेव सत्तमिया ॥५३८ ।। अर्थ-- धर्मादि तीनपृथ्वीवाले नारकी मरणकरके गर्भजपर्याप्नसैनीपञ्चेन्द्रियकर्मभूमिजतिर्यञ्च और मनुष्यपर्यायमें उत्पन्न होते हैं, अन्तिमचार नरकोंवाले जीव तीर्थङ्करत्वादिके बिना पूर्वोक्त मनुष्य अथवा तिर्यञ्चपर्यायमें उत्पन्न होते हैं, किन्तु विशेषता यह है कि सप्तमनरकवाले जीव पूर्वोक्त तिर्यञ्चपर्यायमें ही उत्पन्न होते हैं।
विशेषार्थ- नरकसे निकले हुए जीव चक्री, नारायण-प्रतिनारायण और बलभद्र नहीं होते हैं। नरकसे निकले जीव ढाईद्वीपवर्ती मनुष्य व तिर्थञ्च तथा अन्तिम स्वयंभूरमणद्वीपके अर्धभाग एवं स्वयंभूरमणसमुद्रवर्ती तिर्यञ्चों में और उसके बाहर के चारों कोनों में जलचर-थलचर-नभचरों में उत्पन्न होते हैं। तीस भोगभूमियों और ९६ कुभोगभूमियों के तिर्यंच-मनुष्यों में, मानुषोत्तर और स्वयंप्रभाचल के मध्य में असंख्यात द्वीप और समुद्रों में जघन्य भोगभूमि है, वहाँ के तिर्यंचों में वे नारकी मरकर उत्पन्न नहीं होते हैं। प्रथम-द्वितीय-तृतीय नरकसे निकले हुए जीव तीर्थङ्कर हो सकते हैं। चतुर्थ नरकसे निकला जीव मोक्ष जा सकता है। पञ्चमनरकसे निकला हुआ सकलसंयम और छठे नरकसे निकला देशसंयम धारण कर सकता है। सप्तमनरकसे निकला हुआ जीव सम्यक्त्व धारण नहीं कर सकता। यहाँपर जो यह कहा गया है कि सप्तमनरकसे निकला जोव सम्यक्त्व धारण नहीं कर सकता है सो इसी कथनकी पुष्टि षट्खण्डागमसूत्र एवं तत्त्वार्थ-राजवार्तिकमें भी की गई है, किन्तु यतिवृषभाचार्यका मत है कि सप्तमपृथ्वीसे निकले हुए किन्हीं बिरले जीवोंको सम्यक्त्व प्राप्त हो सकता है।
