की उदीरणा प्रमत्तगुणस्थानपर्यंत के प्रमादी जीव करते हैं, नाम और गोत्रकर्म की उदीरणा सयोगीगुणस्थान तक के जीव करते हैं।
मिस्सूणपमत्तंते, आउस्सद्धा हु सुहुमखीणाणं ।
आवलिसिट्टे कमसो, सग पण दो चेवुदीरणा होति ।।४५६ ॥ अर्थ- मिश्रगुणस्थान के बिना प्रमत्तगुणस्थान पर्यंत पाँच गुणस्थानों में भुज्यमानआयु के आवलीमात्र काल शेष रहने पर आयु बिना सातकर्मों की उदीरणा होती है। सूक्ष्मसाम्परायगुणस्थान में उतना ही काल शेष रहने पर आयु, मोहनीय और वेदनीयकर्म बिना पाँचकों की तथा क्षीणकषायगुणस्थान में भी पूर्वोक्त काल शेष रहने पर नाम और गोत्रकर्म की उदीरणा होती है। इस प्रकार उदय-उदीरणास्थानों का कथन करके सत्त्वस्थान कहते हैं- .
संतोत्ति अट्ठ सत्ता, खीणे सत्तेव होंति सत्ताणि ।
जोगिम्मि अजोगिम्मि य, चत्तारि हवंति सत्ताणि ।।४५७ ।। अर्थ- उपशांतकषायगुणस्थान पर्यंत आठों मूलप्रकृतियों का सत्त्व है। क्षीणकषायगुणस्थान में मोहनीयकर्मों के बिना सात कर्मों का, सयोगी-अयोगीगुणस्थान में चार अधातियाकर्मों का सत्व है। इस प्रकार आठ-सात और चार प्रकृति रूप तीन सत्त्व स्थान जानना।
मूलप्रकृतियों में बन्ध-उदय-उदीरणा और सत्त्वस्थानों का कथन करके अब उत्तरप्रकृति सम्बन्धी उदयादिस्थानों का कथन करते हैं
तिण्णि दस अट्ठ ठाणाणि सणावरणमोहणामाणं।
एत्थेव य भुजगारा, सेसेसेयं हवे ठाणं ॥४५८॥' अर्थ- दर्शनावरण, मोहनीय और नामकर्म के क्रम से ३-१० और ८ बन्धस्थान हैं। इन तीनों कर्मों के भुजकारबन्ध भी इन्हीं तीन में होते हैं। शेष ज्ञानावरण व अन्तरायकर्म की पाँच प्रकृति का बन्धरूप एक ही स्थान है और गोत्र, आयु तथा वेदनीय कर्म का एकात्मक प्रकृति रूप एक-एक ही बंधस्थान है।
