गोम्मटसार कर्मकाण्ड-४२४ होने वाले प्रदेशाग्न का अवहारकाल असंख्यातगुणा है। यह अल्पबहुत्व उत्कृष्ट प्रदेश संक्रमभागहारों का है, न कि सर्वभागहारों का; क्योंकि विध्यातसंक्रमभागहार से अधःप्रवृत्तसंक्रमभागहार विशेष हीन पाया जाता है।
शंका- यह कहाँ से जाना जाता है?
समाधान- वह, प्रत्याख्यानावरणलोभ के जधन्य संक्रमद्रव्य से केवलज्ञानावरण का जघन्य संक्रम द्रव्य विशेष अधिक है, इस आगे कहे जाने वाले अल्पबहुत्व से जाना जाता है।
उसकी अपेक्षा उद्वेलनसंक्रम से संक्रांत होने वाले द्रव्य का अवहारकाल असंख्यातगुणा है। इस अल्पबहुत्व का यहाँ अवधारण करना चाहिए।'
