## Gommatasara Karmakanda - 291
**In Kapotoleśyā, there are 119 Udayayogya (capable of arising) Prakṛtis and 4 Guṇasthāna (stages of qualities).** Here, in Mithyātvaguṇasthāna (stage of false belief), there are 5 Prakṛtis mentioned in the Vyucchitti Guṇasthāna (detailed description of stages of qualities), 117 Udayaprakṛtis (arising Prakṛtis), and 2 Anudayaprakṛtis (non-arising Prakṛtis) - Samyagmithyātv (right false belief) and Samyaktva (right faith).
**In Sāsādanaguṇasthāna (stage of purification),** there are 9 Prakṛtis mentioned in the Vyucchitti Guṇasthāna and 12 Prakṛtis - Devagati (heavenly path), Devagatyānupūrvī (preceding heavenly path), and Devāyu (heavenly lifespan) - making a total of 21 Prakṛtis. Here, 151 are Udayaprakṛtis and 8 are Anudayaprakṛtis.
**In Miśraguṇasthāna (mixed stage),** there is 1 Vyucchinnāprakṛti (separated Prakṛti) - Samyagmithyātv, 98 Udayaprakṛtis, and 21 Anudayaprakṛtis.
**In Asanyataguṇasthāna (stage of non-restraint),** there are 14 Prakṛtis - 4 Apratyākhyānakṣay (non-rejected passions), Narakagati (hellish path), Narakagatyānupūrvī (preceding hellish path), Narakāyu (hellish lifespan), Vaikriyikaśarīra (transformed body), Vaikriyikaṅgopāṅga (transformed limbs), Tiryak (animal) and Manusyagatyānupūrvī (preceding human path), and 3 Durbhaga (misfortune) etc. Here, 101 are Udayaprakṛtis and 18 are Anudayaprakṛtis.
**In the incomplete time of Bhavanavāsī, Vyantar, and Jyotiṣīdeva (types of deities),** only Kṛṣṇa, Nīla, and Kapotoleśyā are present. In the complete time, a small portion of Tejośyā is found.
**The holder of Aśubhaleśyā (unfortunate aura) is not born in the three types of Asanyat Bhavan (abodes of non-restraint).** Therefore, the Udayavyucchitti (arising and detailed description) of Devagati, Devagatyānupūrvī, and Devāyu occurs only in Sāsādanaguṇasthāna.
**In Kapotoleśyā, the following table shows the Udayavyucchitti, Uday (arising), and Anuday (non-arising) related to the Prakṛtis:**
| Udayayogya Prakṛti | Guṇasthāna | Vyucchitti | Uday | Anuday |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 119 | 4 | | | |
| | | Viśeṣa Mithyātv | 2 (Samyagmithyātv, Samyaktva) | |
| | | Sāsādan | 5 (Guṇasthāna-mentioned) | 8 (5 + 2 + 1 Narakagatyānupūrvī) |
| | | Miśra | 12 (9 Guṇasthāna-mentioned, Devadvik Devāyu) | 21 (12 + 8 + 2 Manusya and Tiryakgatyānupūrvī - 1 Samyagmithyātv) |
| | | Asanyat | 14 (12 Kṛṣṇa and Nīlaleśyā related to Sandṛṣṭi + Narak and Tiryakgatyānupūrvī) | 18 (21 + 1 - 22 - 4, Narakgatyānupūrvī without 3 Anupūrvī and Samyaktva) |
**The following verse describes the Uday (arising) etc. in the three auspicious Leśyā (auras):**
**Teutiye saguṇoghanā dāvigigivigalathāvaracaukkam |**
**Niradadutadāutiriyāṇugam narāṇū ṇ micchaduge || 327 ||**
**Meaning:** In the three auspicious Leśyā - Tejo (radiant), Kṛṣṇa (dark), and Nīla (blue) - there are 122 Prakṛtis in their respective Guṇasthāna. Out of these, 4 are Ātap (sun-like), Ekaindriya (one-sensed), Vikaleindriya (impaired-sensed), and Sthāvara (stationary) etc., 13 are Narakadvik (two hellish paths), Narakāyu (hellish lifespan), and Tiryakgatyānupūrvī (preceding animal path).
