गोम्मटसार कर्मकाण्ड-१०४ त्रीन्द्रिय, चतुरिन्द्रिय, सूक्ष्म, साधारण और अपर्याप्त का उत्कृष्टस्थितिबन्ध १८ कोडाकोड़ीसागरप्रमाण है। अरति, शोक, नपुंसकवेद, तिर्यञ्चगति, तिर्यञ्चगत्यानुपूर्वी, भय, जुगुप्सा, नरकगति, नरकगत्यानुपूर्वी, तैजस, कार्मण और औदारिकशरीर, औदारिकअङ्गोपाङ्ग, वैक्रियकशरीर, वैक्रियकअङ्गोपाङ्ग, आतप, उधोत, नीचगात्र, स, बादर, पयात व प्रत्येक, वणचतुष्क, अगुरुलघु, उपघात, परघात, उच्छ्वास, एकेन्द्रिय, पञ्चेन्द्रिय, स्थावर, निर्माण, अप्रशस्तविहायोगति तथा अस्थिर, अशुभ, दुर्भग, दुःस्वर, अनादेय, अयशस्कीर्ति इस प्रकार इन सर्व ४१ प्रकृतियोंका २० कोड़ाकोड़ीसागरप्रमाण उत्कृष्टस्थितिबन्ध है। हास्य, रति, उच्चगोत्र, पुरुषवेद तथा स्थिर, शुभ, सुभग, सुस्वर, आदेय और यशस्कीर्ति, प्रशस्तविहायोगति, देवगति, देवगत्यानुपूर्वी इन १३ प्रकृत्तियों का उत्कृष्टस्थितिबन्ध १० कोड़ाकोड़ीसागर है। आहारकशरीर-आहारकअङ्गोपाङ्ग और तीर्थङ्करप्रकृतिका अन्त: कोड़ाकोड़ीसागर (एक करोड़ अधिक एवं कोड़ाकोड़ीसे कम) प्रमाण उत्कृष्टस्थितिबन्ध है। देवायु और नरकायुका मूलप्रकृति के समान ३३ सागरप्रमाण तथा मनुष्यायु व तिर्यञ्चायुका तीनपल्यप्रमाण उत्कृष्टस्थितिबन्ध है। यह उत्कृष्टस्थितिबन्ध सञ्जीपञ्चेन्द्रियपर्याप्तके ही हो सकता है।।१३३॥
विशेषार्थ - शुभाशुभकर्मका उत्कृष्टस्थितिबन्ध यथायोग्य उत्कृष्टसंक्लेशपरिणामवाले चारोंगतिके जीवोंको ही होता है। उत्कृष्ट संक्लेशवाले जीवको अप्रशस्त प्रकृतियों का बन्ध होगा, साताआदिका बन्ध नहीं होगा। इन प्रकृतियों में तीर्थकर और आहारकद्विक ये तीन संसार का कारण नहीं है।
सव्वट्टिदीणमुक्कस्सओ दु उक्कस्ससंकिलेसेण।
विवरीदेण जहण्णो आउगतियवज्जियाणं तु ॥१३४॥ अर्थ - तिर्यञ्च, मनुष्य व देवायुबिना अन्य ११७ प्रकृतियों का उत्कृष्टस्थितिबन्ध तत्प्रायोग्य उत्कृष्ट संक्लेशपरिणामों से होता है। और जघन्यस्थितिबन्ध यथायोग्य विशुद्ध परिणामों से होता है। तीनआयुरूप प्रकृतियों का भी यथायोग्य विशुद्धपरिणामों से उत्कृष्टस्थितिबन्ध होता है तथा जधन्यस्थितिबन्ध यथायोग्य संक्लेशपरिणामों से होता है।
विशेषार्थ - उत्कृष्टसंक्लेशपरिणामों के अतिरिक्त बन्धककी गति आदि भी स्थितिबंधमें कारण है। जैसे देव उत्कृष्ट संक्लेशद्वारा एकेन्द्रियजाति का बन्ध करता है, किन्तु तिर्यञ्चआयुका जघन्यस्थितिबन्ध नहीं करता है। अब उत्कृष्टस्थितिबन्ध के स्वामी बताते हैं -
सव्वुक्कस्सठिदीणं मिच्छादिट्ठी दु बंधगो भणिदो।
आहारं तित्थयरं देवाउं वा विमोत्तूण ॥१३५ ॥ १. महाबंध पु. २ पृ. २५६-२५७ “तप्पाओग्गउक्कसए संकिलिटे वट्टमाणस्स"
