प्रणवाद छण्हं सजाइ- स्वेण उदयमाणाणं । सम्मत्त - कम्म उदये खयउवसमियं हवे सम्मं ।।३०६ ॥

- अनन्तानुबन्धी कोध-मान- माया-लोभ, मिथ्यात्व और सम्यग्मिथ्यात्व इन छह प्रकृतियों के उदयाभाव से अर्थात् विष, हलाहल प्रादि रूप से दारू बहुभाग रूप से व शिला व प्रस्थि रूप से उदय का प्रभाव हो जाने से और अनन्तानुबन्धी क्रोध मान-माया-लोभ के संक्रमण के द्वारा श्रप्रत्याख्यानयादि रूप से मिध्यात्व व सम्यस्मिथ्यात्व का संक्रमण होकर सम्यक् प्रकृतिरूप उदय में आने से और सम्यक्त्व प्रकृति का उदय होने पर चल, मलिन, अगाढ़ दोष सहित क्षयोपशम सम्यक्त्व उत्पन्न होता है। चल-मल अगाढ़ का स्वरूप गा २५ की टीका (विशेषार्थ ) में कहा जा चुका है।

शंका- क्षयोपशम सम्यवत्व को वेदक सम्यग्दर्शन यह संज्ञा कैसे प्राप्त होती है ?
समाधान- दर्शन मोहनीय कर्म के उदय का वेदन करने वाले जीव के जो सम्यक्त्व होता है। वेद सम्यक्त्व है ।
शङ्का - जिनके दर्शनमोहनीय कर्म का उदय विद्यमान है. उनके सम्यग्दर्शन कैसे पाया जा
सकता है ?
समाधान दर्शनमोहनीय की देशघाती प्रकृति के उदय रहने पर भी जीव के स्वभाव रूप श्रद्धान के एकदेश होने में कोई विरोध नहीं आता है ।"

सम्यक्त्व प्रकृति के देशघाती स्पर्धकों के उदय के साथ रहनेवाला सम्यक्त्व परिणाम क्षायोपशमिक कहलाता है। मिथ्यात्व के सर्वघाती स्पर्धकों के उदय अभाव रूप क्षय से, उन्हीं के सदवस्था रूप उपणम से और सम्यग्मिथ्यात्व प्रकृति के सर्वघाती स्पर्धकों के उदय क्षय से तथा उन्हीं के सदवस्था रूप उपशम से अथवा श्रनुदयोपशमन से और सम्यक्त्व प्रकृति के देशघाती स्पर्धकों के उदय से क्षायोपशमिक भाव कितने ही याचार्य कहते हैं, किन्तु यह कथन घटित नहीं होता, क्योंकि वैसा मानने पर प्रतिव्याप्ति व अध्याप्ति दोष का प्रसंग याता है। अथवा कृतकृत्य वेदक के क्षयोपशम का यह लक्षरण घटित नहीं होता ।
शंकर - अतिव्याप्ति दोष किस प्रकार प्राता है ?
समाधान -- यदि वेदक सम्यक्त्व में सम्यक् प्रकृति के उदय की मुख्यता न मानकर, केवल मिथ्यात्वादि के क्षयोपशम से ही इसकी उत्पत्ति मानी जावे तो सादि मिध्यादृष्टि की अपेक्षा सम्यक् प्रकृति और सम्यग्मिथ्यात्व प्रकृति के उदयाभाव क्षय और सदवस्था रूप उपशम से तथा मिथ्यात्व प्रकृति के उदय से मिथ्यात्व गुणस्थान को भी क्षायोपशमिक मानना पड़ेगा, क्योंकि वहाँ पर भी क्षयोपशम का लक्षण घटित होता है ।
