के (मामान्य लोक, ऊर्वलोक व अधोलोक) असंख्यातवें भाग में, तिर्यग्लोक के संख्यातवें भाग में और पढ़ाई द्वीप में असंख्यातगुणे क्षेत्र में रहते हैं, क्योंकि यहाँ देवराशि की प्रधानता है। मारणान्तिक समुद्घात पद की अपेक्षा भी इसी प्रकार क्षेत्र है विशेष इतना है कि । तियंग्लोक से असंख्यात गुणाक्षेत्र है। इसी प्रकार उपपाद पद की अपेक्षा भी क्षेत्र का निरूपण जानना चाहिए। स्वस्थानस्वस्थान, विहारवत्स्वस्थान, वेदना समपात और कषाय समक्ष्यात पदों से पद्मलेश्यावाले जीव तीन लोकों के असंख्यातवें भाग में तिर्यग्नोक के संख्यातवें भाग में और अढ़ाई द्वीप से असंख्यातगुणे क्षेत्र में रहते हैं। क्योंकि यहां पर नियंत्र राशि प्रधान है। क्रियिक-समुदघात, मारणान्तिक-समधात और उपपदों की अपेक्षा चार लोकों के असंख्यात व भाग में और अढाईद्वीप से असंख्यात गुणे क्षेत्र में अवस्थान है। क्योंकि यहां सनत्कुमार माहेन्द्र कल्प के देवों को प्रधानता है।'
स्वस्थानस्वस्थान, विहारबत्स्वस्थान और उपपाद पदों से शुवल लेश्या वाले जीव चार लोक के असंख्यातवें भाग में और अढ़ाई द्वीप से अमन्यात गुरणे क्षेत्र में रहते हैं। यहाँ उपपादगत जीब संख्यात ही हैं, क्योंकि मनुष्यों में से यहाँ आगमन है । वेदना ममुद्घात, कषायसमुद्घात, वक्रियिक समुद्धात,दण्डसमुद्घात और मारणान्तिक समुद्घात पदों की अपेक्षा चारलोक के असंख्यातवें भाग में और अढ़ाई द्वीप से असंख्यातगुणे क्षेत्र में रहते हैं । इसी प्रकार तैजस समुद्घात व आहारक समुदघात पदों का भी (तीनों शुभ लेण्याओं में) क्षेत्र निरूपण करना चाहिए, विशेष इतना है कि इन पदों की अपेक्षा उक्त जीव मानुष क्षेत्र के संख्यातवें भाग में रहते हैं। शुक्ल लेश्या में दण्ड समुद्घातगत केवलज्ञानी चार लोकों के असंख्यातवें भाग में और अढ़ाई द्वीप से असंख्यातगुणे क्षेत्र में रहते हैं। कपाट समुद्घात गत केवलज्ञानी तीन लोक के असंख्यातवें भाग में, तिर्यग्लोक के संख्यातवें भाग में और अढाई द्वीप से असंख्यातगुणे क्षेत्र में रहते हैं । प्रतर समुद्घातगत केवली लोक के असंख्यात बहुभाग में रहते हैं । लोकपूरण समुद्घात की अपेक्षा मर्वलोक में रहते हैं ।
उपपादक्षेत्र निकालने के लिए गाथा सूत्र मरवि असंखेज्जदिमं तस्सासंखा य विग्गहे होंति । तस्सासंखं दूरे उववादे तस्स ख असंखं ॥५४४।।
गाथार्थ - सौधर्म-ईशान स्वर्ग में प्रति समय असंख्यात जीव मरते हैं और उसका असंख्यात बहुभाग विग्रह गति करने वाले हैं। और उसके भी असंख्यात बहुभाग उत्पन्न होने वाले होते हैं । और उसका असंख्यातवाँ भाग दूसरे दण्ड से उत्पन्न होने वाले जीव हैं ॥१४४॥
विशेषार्थ---धवल में इस विषय का कथन इस प्रकार है--उपपाद क्षेत्र स्थापित करते समय सौधर्मऐशान देवों की विष्कम्भसूची घनांगुल के तृतीय वर्ग मुल) मे गुणित जगधेगी को स्थापित करके पल्योपम के असंख्यातवे भाग रूप सौधर्म-ऐशान सम्बन्धी उपत्र मग काल से अपवर्तित करने पर उत्पन्न होने वाले जीवों का प्रमाण होता है। पुनः असंख्यात योजन कप दूसरे दण्ड से उत्पन्न होने वाले जीवों का प्रमाण हष्ट है, ऐसा समझकर पल्योगम के असंख्यातब भाग प्रमाण एक दूसरा भागहार स्थापित करना चाहिए । तथा एक प्रतरांगृल प्रमाण विष्कम्भ से और जगथेणी के - -. .१. धवल पु. ७ पृ. ३५८-३५६ । २. धवल पु. ७ पृ. ३५६-६६० । ३. धवल पू. ७ पृ. ३५३ ।
