गाथ। ४३०-४३६
सोहम्मीसारणारणमसंखेज्जानो हु वस्सकोडीयो । उरिमकप्पचउक्के पल्लासंखेज्जभागो दु ॥४३५॥ तत्तो लांतवकपप्पहुबी सवत्थसिद्धिपेरंतं । किचूरण-पल्लमेतं कालपमाणं जहाजोगं ॥४३६।।
गाथार्थ-'सषकीसारणा' सौधर्म और ऐशान स्वर्ग के देव अवधिज्ञान के द्वारा पृथिवी (नरक) पर्यन्त देखते (जानते ) हैं । सानत्कुमार माहेन्द्र के देव दुसरी पृथिबी तक जानते हैं। ब्रह्म-ब्रह्मोत्तरलान्ताय-फापिष्ठ स्वर्ग के देव तोसगै पृथिवी तक जानते हैं। शुक्र-महाशुक्र-शतार-सहस्रार स्वर्ग के देव चौथी पृथिवी (नरक) तक जानते हैं ।।४३०।। प्रानत-प्राणतबासी तथा प्रारण-अच्युतनिवासी देव पाँचवीं पृथिवी (नरक) तक जानते हैं और वेबकवासी देव छठी पृथिवी नरक तक जानते हैं।।४३१|| अनुत्तर के देव अवधिज्ञान द्वारा सर्व लोकनाली को जानते हैं। कल्पवासी सब देव अपने-अपने क्षेत्र के जितने प्रदेश हों उतनी बार अपने-अपने विनसोपचय सहित अवधि ज्ञानावरग कर्म के द्रव्य में ध्र बहार का भाग देने पर जो अन्तिम एक भाग लब्ध पाता है, उसको जानते हैं ।।४३२-४३३-४३४।। सौधर्म और ऐणान स्वर्ग के देवों की अवधि का काल असंख्यात कोटि वर्ष है। इसके ऊपर चार कल्पों में अवधिकाल पल्य का असंख्यातवाँ भाग है । उसके मागे लान्तब स्वर्ग से लेकर सर्वार्थ सिद्धि तक अवधि विषयक काल यथायोग्य कुछ पल्य मात्र है ।।४३५-४३६॥
विशेषार्थ-सौधर्म और ईशान कल्पवासी देव अपने विमान के उपरिम तल-मण्डल से लेकर प्रथम पृथिवी (नरक) के नीचे के तल तक डेढ़ राज् लम्बे और एक राज विस्तारवाले क्षेत्र को देखते हैं । सानतकुमार और माहेन्द्र कल्पवासी देव अपने विमान के ध्वजादण्ड से लेकर नीचे दूसरी पृथिवी के नीचे के तल भाग तक चार राजू लम्बे और एक राजू विस्तारबाले धोत्र को जानते हैं । ब्रह्मब्रह्मोत्तर कल्पवासी देव अपने विमान शिखर से लेकर नीचे तीसरी पृथिवी के तल भाग तक साढ़े पाँच राजू लम्बे और एक राज विस्तारवाले क्षेत्र को जानते हैं । लान्तव और कापिष्ठ विमानवासी देव अपने विमान शिस्त्रर से तीसरी पृथित्री के नीचे के तल तक छह राजू लम्बे और एक राजू विस्तार वाले क्षेत्र को जानते हैं।

समाधान-मागे के गाथा सूत्र (४३२) में प्रयुक्त 'सव्वं च लोयरपालि' पदों की अनुवृत्ति प्राने से यहाँ सिहावलोकन न्याय से 'छह राजू प्रायत सब लोक नाली को देखते हैं यह इस सूत्र का अर्थ सिद्ध है। इसीसे उक्त क्षत्रों का विस्तार एक राज जाना जाता है।

The Brahma-Brahmottara-Lantaya-Fapishta heaven gods know up to the third earth. The Shukra-Mahashukra-Shatara-Sahasrar heaven gods know up to the fourth earth (hell). 430. The Pranat-Pranatbasi and Praran-Achyutniwasi heaven gods know up to the fifth earth (hell) and the Webakwasi heaven gods know up to the sixth earth (hell). 431. The Anuttara heaven gods know all the Lokanali by their Avadhi knowledge. All the Kalpawasi heaven gods know as many regions as there are in their respective fields, and they know the last part of the Avadhi knowledge-Avaraga karma dravya, which is obtained after giving away the part of the dravya in their respective Vinasopachya. 432-433-434. The time period of the Avadhi of the Saudharma and Aishana heaven gods is countless koti years. Above this, in four kalpas, the Avadhi time period is an immeasurable part of the Paly.
