लम्बी और एक राजू विस्तारवाली लोकनाली को देखते हैं । पानत और प्राणत कल्पवासी देव अपने विमान के शिखर से लेकर नीचे पांचवीं पृथिवी के नीचे के तलभाग तक साढ़े नौ राज लम्बी और एक राज विस्तारवाली लोकनाली को देखते हैं । पारण और अच्युत ब.ल्पवासी देव अपने विमान के शिखर से लेकर नीचे पांचवीं पृथिवी के नीचे के तलभाग तक दम राजु लम्बी और एक राजू विस्तार वाली लोय. नाली को देखते हैं। नौ ग्रेवेयक विमानवासी देव अपने-अपने विमानों के शिखर से लेकर नीचे छठी पृथिवी के नीचे के तलभाग तक साधिक ग्यारह राजू लम्बी और एक राज विस्तार वाली लोकनाली को देखते हैं। नौ अनुदिश और पाँच अन्तर विमानबासी देव अपने-अपने विमान के शिखर से लेकर नीचे निगोदस्थान से बाहर के बातवलय तक कुछ कम चौदह राज लम्बी और एक राजु विस्तारवाली सब लोकनाली को देखते हैं ।
शङ्का- गाथा में नौ अनुदिश का नामोल्लेख वयों नहीं किया गया ?
समाधान-गाथा में 'सव्वंच पद है। यहाँ जो 'च' शब्द है वह अनुक्त अर्थ का समुच्चय करने के लिए है। इससे गाथासूत्र में अनिर्दिष्ट नौ अनुदिशवासी देवों का ग्रहण किया है। लोकनाली पाद अन्तदीपक है ऐमा जानकर उसकी सर्वत्र योजना करनी चाहिए। यथा-सौधर्म कल्पवासी देव अपने विगान के शिखर से लेकर पहली पृथिवी तक सब लोकनाली को देखते हैं । सानत्कुमार और माहेन्द्र कल्पबासी देव दूसरी पृथित्री तक सबलोकनाली को देखते हैं । इसी प्रकार आगे सर्वत्र कथन करना चाहिए, कारण कि इसके बिना नी अनुदिश और पांच अनुत्तर विमानवासी देवों के सब लोकनाली विषयक अवधिज्ञान प्राप्त होता है, परन्तु ऐसा है नहीं, क्योंकि प्रथम तो अपने-अपने विमानों के शिखर से ऊपर के विषय का ग्रहण किसी को नहीं होता। दूसरे, नौ अनुदिश और चार अनुत्तर विमानवासी देवों के सातवीं पृथिवी के अधस्तन तल से नीचे का ग्रहण नहीं होता। तीसरे, सर्वार्थ सिद्धिविमानवासी देव भी सब लोकनाली को नहीं देखते हैं, क्योंकि उनके अपने विमानशिखर से ऊपर का कुछ कम इक्कीस योजन [१२+८+ (१--४२५}] बाहल्यवाले एक राजू प्रतररूपोत्र के अतिरिक्त सब लोकनाली क्षेत्र का ग्रहण होता है।
