गाथार्थ - कालविशेष से क्षेत्रविशेष को भाजित करने पर बवृद्धियों का प्रमाण आता है । इष्टकाण्डक में अनव वृद्धि का भी विरोध नहीं है । घनांगुल के प्रसंख्यातवें भाग वा घनांगुल के संख्यातवें भाग व अंगुलमात्र, वा संख्यात घनांगुल मात्र वा प्रसंख्यात घनांगुलप्रमाण क्षेत्र की वृद्धि होने पर एक समय की वृद्धि होती है, इसी प्रकार से रणी व जगत्प्रतर के आश्रय से अव वृद्धियों का कथन करना चाहिए ॥४०८-४०६ ॥
विशेषार्थ- जघन्य काल (आवली का असंख्यातवाँ भाग) को कुछ कम ग्रावली में से घटाकर शेष का विरलन कर जधन्यक्षेत्र (अंगुल का प्रसंख्यातवाँ भाग) से होन घनांगुल को समखण्ड करके प्रत्येक समय के ऊपर देकर अवस्थित व अनवस्थित वृद्धि के विकल्पों में अंगुल के असंख्यातवें भाग व संख्यातवें मात्र क्षेत्र विकल्पों के बढ़ने पर ( बीतने पर ) काल में एक समय बढ़ना है, पूर्व के (गा. ४०१ के) समान ऐसी प्ररूपणा करनी चाहिए। इस प्रकार जाकर अनुत्तर विमानवासी देव काल की अपेक्षा पल्योपम के असंख्यातवें भाग और क्षेत्र की अपेक्षा समस्त लोकनाली को जानते हैं । श्रतएव जघन्य काल से रहित पत्थोपम के असंख्यातवें भाग का विरलन कर जघन्य क्षेत्र से होन जघन्य आदि अध्वान को समखण्ड करके देने पर प्रत्येक रूप के प्रति असंख्यात जगत्प्रतर मात्र लोक का प्रसंख्यातवां भाग प्राप्त होता है । यहाँ एकरूपधरित मात्र क्षेत्र विकल्पों के बीत जाने पर काल में एक समय बढ़ता है,
