यद्यपि निवृत्तिकरण के अवेदभाग के प्रारम्भ से जीव श्रपगतवेदी हो जाता है तथापि यहाँ पर उसकी त्रिवक्षा नहीं है, किन्तु केवली की विवक्षा है। क्योंकि स्वात्मोत्पन्न श्रनन्त उत्कृष्ट सुख केवली के ही सम्भव है ।' छद्मस्थ अवस्था में ज्ञान दर्शन स्वभाव का घात होने से स्वाभाविक अनन्त व उत्कृष्ट सुख सम्भव नहीं है, किन्तु स्वभाव का घात रूपी दुःख विद्यमान है ।

गाथार्थ - ज्योतिष देवों से संख्यातगुणे हीन व्यन्तर हैं। उनसे संख्यातगुगो हीन योनिनी तिर्यंच हैं। उनसे संख्यातगुणे हीन पुरुषवेदी तिर्यच हैं। उनसे संख्यातगुणे हीन संज्ञी पंचेन्द्रियतिर्यंच हैं। उनसे संख्यातगुणे हीन संजी पंचेन्द्रिय तेजोलेश्या वाले जीव हैं। उनसे संख्यातगुणे हीन संशी पंचेन्द्रिय पद्मलेश्मा वाले जीव हैं ॥ २७७॥

विशेषार्थ – पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यंच योनिनी जीव भवनवासी देवियों से संख्यातगुण हैं । वानव्यन्तर देव पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यच योनिनियों से संख्यातगुणे हैं। वहीं पर देवियाँ देवों से संख्यातगुणी हैं । ज्योतिषी देव बानव्यंतर देवियों से संख्यातगुणे हैं । तथा वहीं पर देवियों देवों से संख्यातगुणी हैं। यह ख़ुद्दाबन्ध के सूत्र से जाना जाता है। देवों के संख्यात बहुभाग देवियाँ होती हैं तथा तिथंच योनिनी जीव देवियों के संख्यातवें भाग हैं ।

इगिपुरिसे बसीसं देवी तज्जोगभजिददेवोधे । सगगुलगारेण गुणे पुरुषा महिला य देवेसु || २७८ ॥
गाथार्थ - एक देव के बत्तीस देवियां होती हैं। उनके योग से देवघोष राशि को भाग देकर ने-अपने गुणाकार से गुणा करने पर देव और देवियों का प्रमाण प्राप्त होता है ।। २७८ ॥
विशेषार्थ - यदि एक देव है तो उसकी बत्तीस देवियाँ होती हैं । इस प्रकार एक और बत्तीस को जोड़कर (१+ ३२) तैंतीस से देवराशि को खण्डित करने पर एक खण्डं प्रमाण देव हैं इस एक खण्ड को देव प्रोघ राशि में से कम करने पर देवियों का प्रमाण प्राप्त होता है । "

The Devis are numerous than the Devas. The Jyotish Devas are numerous than the Vanvyantar Devis. And the Devis are numerous than the Devas. This is known from the Sutra of Khudda Bandha. The Devis are numerous in the number of Devas, and the Tiryancha Yonin living beings are a fraction of the number of Devis.
