शरीर के सहकारी कारण हैं, इसलिए भी इनकी नोकर्म संज्ञा है।
शङ्का--तेजस शरीर किसे कहते हैं ?
समाधान तेज और प्रभा गुण से युक्त होने के कारण इसकी नैजसशरीर संज्ञा है ।।२४०।।' शरीर स्कन्ध के पद्मरागमणि के समान वर्ण का नाम तेज है तथा शरीर से निकली हुई रश्मिकला का नाम प्रभा है। इसमें जो हया है वह तेजसशरीर है।
कार्मण शरीर नामकर्म के उदय से कार्मरणशरीर होता है। ज्ञानाबरणादि पाठ प्रकार के कर्मस्कन्धसमूह ही कार्मण शरीर हैं । इन कर्मस्कन्धसमूह के बिना अन्य की कार्मणशरीर संज्ञा परमागम में नहीं कही गई है।
औदारिकादिक शरीरों के समयप्रवद्ध और वर्गणाओं का प्रवगाहना प्रमाणा परमाणुहि अणंतहि वग्गणसण्णा हु होदि एक्का हु। ताहि अर्णतहि णियमा समयपबद्धो हवे एक्को ॥२४५।। ताणं समयपबद्धा सेढि असंखेज्जभागगुरिगदकमा । गंतेण य तेजबुगा परं परं होदि सुहमं खु ।।२४६॥ प्रोगाहरणारिण ताणं समयपबद्धारण वग्गणारणं च । अंगुल-असंख-भागा उवरुवरिमसंखगुणहीणा ॥२४७।। तस्समयबद्धबग्गरणयोगाहो सूइभंगुलासंख- ।
भागहिदविवअंगुलमुवरि तेरण भजिदकमा ॥२४॥ गाथार्थ-अनन्तानन्त परमाणुओं की वर्गणा संज्ञा है अर्थात् अनन्तानन्त परमाणुओं की एक वर्गणा होती है। अनन्तानन्त उन वर्गणाओं का एक समयप्रबद्ध होता है ।।२४५।। औदारिक, वंऋियिक और ग्राहारक इन तीन शरीरों के समय प्रबद्ध उत्तरोत्तर क्रम से असंख्यातगुणे हैं । गुणाकार श्रेणी का असंख्यातवाँ भाग है। तेजस और कार्मण के समयप्रबद्ध अनन्तगुरणे हैं। किन्तु ये पांचों हो शरीर उत्तरोत्तर सूक्ष्म हैं ॥२४६।। इन शरीरों के समय प्रबद्ध और वर्गणाओं की अवगाहना अंगुल के असंख्यातवें भाग है। आगे-भागे अवगाहना असंख्यातगुणी-असंख्यातगुणीहीन होती गई है ॥२४७।। प्रौदारिक आदि शरीरों के समयप्रवद्ध व वर्गणा की अवगाहना सुच्यंगुल के असंख्यातवें भाग से भाजित धनांगुल प्रमाणा है, किन्तु यह अवगाहना उत्तरोत्तर क्रम से मूच्यंगृल के असंख्यात भाग से भक्त होकर हीन होती गई है ॥२४॥
विशेषार्थ समगुण वाले परमाण अर्थात वर्गों की एक पंक्ति करने से वर्ग होता है। ऐसा करने पर अभव्यों से अनन्तगुणों और सिद्धों के अनन्तवें भाग प्रमाण वर्ग (परमाणु) प्राप्त होते हैं ।

The *haya* (subtle body) within this is the *tejas* body.
