पर्याप्ति/१७३ शङ्का-जिसप्रकार सम्यग्दष्टि भरकर प्रथम पृथ्वी में उत्तम होते हैं उसीप्रकार द्वितीयादि पृथ्वियों में सम्यग्दृष्टि जीव उत्पन्न क्यों नहीं होते ?'
समाधान-असंयत सम्यग्दृष्टि जीव द्वितीयादि प्रश्चियों में उत्पन्न नहीं होते, क्योंकि सम्यग्दृष्टियों के शेष छह पृश्वियों में उत्पन्न होने के निमित्त नहीं पाये जाते ।
अशुभलेश्या के सत्त्व को नरक में उत्पत्ति का कारण कहना ठीक नहीं है, क्योंकि मरण के समय असंयतसम्यग्दृष्टिजीव के नीचे की छह पृथ्बियों में उत्पत्ति की कारणरूप अशुभलेश्या नहीं पायी जाती है । मरकायु का सत्त्व भी सम्यग्दृष्टि के नीचे की छह पृथ्वियों में उत्पत्ति का कारण नहीं है, क्योंकि सम्यग्दर्शन रूपी खड्ग से नीचे की छह पृथ्वी सम्बन्धी प्रायु काट दी जाती है। नीचे की छह पृथ्वी सम्बन्धी प्रायु का कटना प्रसिद्ध भी नहीं है, क्योंकि प्रामम से इसकी पुष्टि होती है इसलिए यह सिद्ध हुआ कि नीचे की छह पृथ्वियों में सम्यग्दृष्टि उत्पन्न नहीं होता है ।
शङ्का-सम्यग्दर्शन की सामर्थ्य से नरकायु का छेद क्यों नहीं हो जाता ? 'समाधान-नरकायु का छेद अवश्य होता है, किन्तु उसका समूल नाश नहीं होता। शङ्का समूल नाश क्यों नहीं होता ?
समाधान-अागामी भव को बांधी हुई आयु का समूलनाश नहीं होता, इस प्रकार का स्वभाव है। जो प्रायुकर्म का बन्ध करते समय मिथ्यादृष्टि थे और जिन्होंने तदनन्तर सम्यग्दर्शन ग्रहण किया है ऐसे जीवों की नरकादि गति में उत्पत्ति रोकने की सामर्थ्य सम्यग्दर्शन में नहीं है।
नरकगति के कथन के पश्चात् अब तिर्यचगति सम्बन्धी गुणस्थानों का कथन करते हैं -
तियंच मिथ्याष्टि, सासादन सम्यग्दृष्टि और असंयतसम्यग्दृष्टि गुणस्थानों में पर्याप्त भी होते हैं और अपर्याप्त भी ।
शङ्का-जिसने तीर्थङ्कर की सेवा को है और जिसने मोहनीय की सात प्रकृतियों का क्षय कर दिया है, ऐसा क्षायिकसम्यग्दृष्टि जीव दुःखबहुल तिर्यंचों में कैसे उत्पन्न होता है ?
समाधान-नहीं, क्योंकि तिर्यंचों के नारकियों की अपेक्षा अधिक दुःख नहीं पाये जाते हैं ।
तियच सम्यग्मिथ्यादृष्टि और संयतासंयत्तगुणस्थानों में नियम से पर्याप्तक होते हैं । तिर्यंचों में उत्पन्न हुए भी क्षायिकसम्यग्दृष्टि जीव अणुनतों को नहीं ग्रहण करते हैं, क्योंकि क्षायिकसम्यग्दृष्टि 'यदि तिर्यंचों में उत्पन्न होते हैं तो भोगभूमि तिर्यंचों में ही उत्पन्न होते हैं और भोगभूमि में उत्पन्न हुए जीवों के अणुव्रतों का ग्रहण करना बन नहीं सकता।
