________________ आदिपुराणम् नमस्तमःपटच्छन्मजगदुद्योतहेतवे । जिनेन्द्रांशुमते 'तन्वत्प्रमामाभारमासिने ॥२॥ जयत्यजय्यमाहात्म्यं विशासितकुशासनम् । शासनं जैनमुद्भासि मुक्तिलक्ष्म्येकशासनम् ॥३॥ रत्नत्रयमयं जैन जैत्रमस्त्रं जयत्यदः । येनाव्याज व्यजेष्टाईन् दुरितारातिवाहिनीम् ॥४॥ यः साम्राज्यमधःस्थायि गीर्वाणाधिपवैभवम् । तृणाय मन्यमानः सन् प्रावाजीदग्रिमः पुमान् ॥५॥ 'यमनुप्राव्रजन् भूरि सहस्राणि महीभिताम् । इक्ष्वाकुमो जमुख्यानां स्वामिमक्त्यैव केवलम् ॥६॥ कच्छाद्या यस्य सद्वृत्तं निर्वोढुमसहिष्णवः । वसानाः" पर्णवल्काचान वन्यो "वृत्ति प्रपंदिरे ॥७॥ अनाश्वान्यस्तपस्तेपे चरं सोढ्वा परीषहान् । सर्व सहत्वमाध्याय" निर्जरासाधन परम् ॥८॥ और अपने सदुपदेशोंके द्वारा संसारका भय नष्ट करनेवाले हैं ऐसे वृषभसेन गणधरको नमस्कार हो। "भुवं धरतीति धर्मो धरणीन्द्रस्तं चक्राकारेण वलयाकारेण समीपे बिभर्तीति धर्मचक्रभृत् पार्श्वतीर्थंकरः तस्मै"। उक्त व्युत्पत्तिके अनुसार 'धर्मचक्रभृते' शब्दका अर्थ पाश्वनाथ भी होता है अतः इस श्लोकमें भगवान पार्श्वनाथको भी नमस्कार किया गया है। इसी प्रकार जयकुमार, नारायण, बलभद्र आदि अन्य कथानायकोंको भी नमस्कार किया गया है। विशेष व्याख्यान संस्कृत टिप्पणसे जानना चाहिए। इस श्लोकके चारों चरणोंके प्रथम अक्षरोंसे इस प्रन्थका प्रयोजन भी ग्रन्थकर्ताने व्यक्त किया है-'श्रीसाधन' अर्थात् कैवल्यलक्ष्मीको प्राप्त करना ही इस ग्रन्थके निर्माणका प्रयोजन है ॥१॥ जो अज्ञानान्धकाररूप वखसे आच्छादित जगत्को प्रकाशित करनेवाले हैं तथा सब ओर फैलनेवाली ज्ञानरूपी प्रभाके भारसे अत्यन्त उदासित-शोभायमान हैं ऐसे श्रीजिने रूपी सूर्यको हमारा नमस्कार है ॥२॥ जिसकी महिमा अजेय है, जो मिथ्यादृष्टियोंके शासनका खण्डन करनेवाला है, जो नय प्रमाणके प्रकाशसे सदा प्रकाशित रहता है और मोक्षलक्ष्मीका प्रधान कारण है ऐसा जिनशासन निरन्तर जयवन्त हो ॥३।। श्री अरहन्त भगवान्ने जिसके द्वारा पापरूपी शत्रुओंकी सेनाको सहज ही जीत लिया था ऐसा जयनशील जिनेन्द्रप्रणीत रत्नत्रयरूपी अस्त्र हमेशा जयवन्त रहे ।।४। जिन अग्रपुरुष-पुरुषोत्तमने इन्द्रके वैभवको तिरस्कृत करनेवाले अपने साम्राज्यको तृणके समान तुच्छ समझते हुए मुनिदीक्षा धारण की थी, जिनके साथ ही केवल स्वामिभक्तिसे प्रेरित होकर इक्ष्वाकु और भोजवंशके बड़े-बड़े हजारों राजाओंने दीक्षा ली थी, जिनके निर्दोष चरित्रको धारण करनेके लिए असमर्थ हुए कच्छ महाकच्छ आदि अनेक राजाओंने वृक्षोंके पत्ते तथा छालको पहिनना और वनमें पैदा हुए कन्द-मूल आदिका भक्षण करना प्रारम्भ कर दिया था, जिन्होंने आहार पानीका त्यागकर सर्वसहा पृथिवीकी तरह सब प्रकारके उपसगोंके सहन करनेका दृढ़ विचार कर अनेक परीषह सहे थे तथा कर्मनिर्जराके मुख्य कारण तपको चिरकाल तक तपा था, चिरकाल तक तपस्या करनेवाले जिन जिनेन्द्रके मस्तकपर बढ़ी हुई जटाएँ ध्यान १. तत्त्वप्रमाभा-अ०,५०, स०, द०, ल० । २. प्रकृष्टज्ञानम् । ३. -त्म्यविशा-स. । ४. विनाशित । ५. मुक्तिलक्षम्या एकमेव शासनं यस्मात् तत् । ६. जिनस्येदम् । ७. परावेर्जेरिति सूत्रादात्मनेपदो। ८. तणं मन्यमानः 'मन्यस्योकाकादिषु यतोऽवज्ञा' इति चतुर्थी। ९. येन सह । १०. भोजवंशः। ११. परिदधानाः । १२. जीवनम् । १३. अनशनवान् । १४. अत्र तपस्तपसि,तपेर्धातोः कर्मवत् कार्य भवति । तपसि कर्मणोत्यात्मनेपदी। १५. आलम्ब्य विमृश्य वा । आधाय द०, स०।
