पञ्चविंशतितमं पर्व तर्जयन्निव कारीनूजस्वी रुद्वदिष्ठमुखः । ढंकार पुष ढक्कानामभून्प्रतिपदं विभोः ॥२६१॥ नभोरङ्गे नटन्ति स्म प्रोल्लसद्भपताकिकाः। सुराङ्गाना विलिम्पत्यः स्वदेहप्रमया दिशः ॥२६॥ विबुधाः पठुरुम्साहान् किन्नरा मधुरं जगुः । वाणावादनमातेनुर्गन्धर्वाः सहखेचरैः ॥२६॥ प्रभामयमिवाशेषं जगत्कतुं समुद्यताः । प्रतस्थिरे मुराधीशा ज्वलन्मुकुटकोटयः ॥२३४॥ . दिशः प्रसेदुरुन्मुक्तधूलिकाः प्रमदादिव । बभ्राजे धुतमल्यमनभ्रं वर्म वाचाम् ॥२६५॥ परिनिप्पन्नशाल्यादिसस्यसंपन्मही तदा । उद्भूतहर्षरोमाञ्चा स्वामिलामादिवाभवत् ॥२६६॥ ववुः सुरभयो वाताः स्वधुनीशीकरस्पृशः । आकीर्णपङ्कजरजःपटवासपटावृताः ॥२६७॥ मही समतला रेजे सम्मुखीन तलोज्ज्वला । मुरगन्धाम्बुमिः सिक्ता स्नातेव विरजाः सती ॥२६८॥ भकालकुसुमोदभेदं दर्शयन्ति स्म पादपाः । ऋतुमिः सममागत्य संरुदाः साध्वसादिव ।।२६९।। सुभिनं क्षेममारोग्यं गव्यूतीनां चतुःशती। भेजे भूर्जिनमाहात्म्यादजातप्राणिहिंसना ॥२७० अकस्मात् प्राणिनी भेजुः प्रमदस्य परम्पराम् । तेनुः परस्परां मैत्री बन्धु भूयमिवाश्रिताः ॥२७॥ मकरन्दरजोवर्षि प्रत्यग्रोनिकेसरम् । विचित्ररत्ननिर्माणकर्णिकं विलसदलम् ॥२७२।।
॥२६०॥ भगवान के बिहारकालमें पद-पदपर समस्त दिशाओंको व्याप्त करनेवाला और ऊँचा जो भेरियोंका शब्द हो रहा था वह ऐसा जान पड़ता था मानो कर्मरूपी शत्रुओंको तना ही कर रहा हो-उन्हें धौंस ही दिखला रहा हो ॥२६१।। जिनकी भौंहरूपी पताकाएँ उड़ रही हैं ऐसी देवांगनाएँ अपने शरीरकी प्रभासे दिशाओंको लुप्त करती हुई आकाशरूपी रंगभूमिमें नृत्य कर रही थीं ॥२६२।। देव लोग बड़े उत्साह के साथ पुण्य-पाठ पढ़ रहे थे, किन्नरजातिके देव मनोहर आवाजसे गा रहे थे और गन्धर्व विद्याधरोंके साथ मिलकर वीणा बजा रहे थे ।।२६३।। जिनके मुकुटोंके अग्रभाग देदीप्यमान हो रहे हैं ऐसे इन्द्र समस्त जगत्को प्रभामय करनेके लिए तत्पर हुएके समान भगवानके इधर-उधर चल रहे थे ।।२६।। उस समय समस्त दिशाएँ मानो आनन्दसे ही धूमरहित हो निर्मल हो गयी थी और मेघरहित आकाश अतिशय निर्मलताको धारण कर सुशोभित हो रहा था ॥२६५।। भगवान्के विहारके समय पके हुए शालि आदि धान्योंसे सुशोभित पृथ्वी ऐसी जान पड़ती थी मानो स्वामीका लाभ होनेसे उसे हर्षके रोमांच ही उठ आये हों ।।२६६।। जो आकाशगंगाके जलकणोंका स्पर्श कर रही थी और जो कमलोंके पराग-रजसे मिली हुई होनेसे सुगन्धित वस्त्रोंमे ढकी हुई-सी जान पड़ती थी ऐसी सुगन्धित वायु बह रही थी॥२६७। उस समय पृथ्वी भी दर्पणतलके समान उज्ज्वल तथा समतल हो गयी थी, देवोंने उसपर सुगन्धित जलकी वर्षा की थी जिससे वह धूलिरहित होकर ऐसी सुशोभित हो रही थी मानो रजोधर्मसे रहित तथा स्नान की हुई पतिव्रता स्त्री ही हो ॥२६८ ॥ वृक्ष भी असमयमें फूलोंके उद्भेदको दिखला रहे थे अर्थात् वृक्षोंपर बिना समयके ही पुष्प आ गये थे और उनसे वे
से जान पड़ते थे मानो सब ऋतुओंने भयसे एक साथ आकर ही उनका आलिंगन किया हो ॥२६९।। भगवान्के माहात्म्यसे चार सौ कोश पृथ्वी तक सुभिक्ष था, सब प्रकारका कल्याण था, आरोग्य था और पृथिवी प्राणियोंकी हिंसासे रहित हो गयी थी ।।२७०।। समस्त प्राणी अचानक आनन्दकी परम्पराको प्राप्त हो रहे थे और भाईपनेको प्राप्त हुएके समान परस्परकी मित्रता बढ़ा रहे थे ॥२७१।। जो मकरन्द और परागकी वर्षा कर रहा है, जिसमें नवीन केशर उत्पन्न हुई है, जिसकी कणिका अनेक प्रकारके रत्नोंसे बनी हुई है,

**265.** The earth, adorned with ripe crops of rice and other grains, seemed to be trembling with joy, as if benefiting from the Lord's presence.

**266.** Fragrant winds, touched by the celestial waters of the Milky Way, and carrying the pollen of lotuses, blew gently, as if draped in fragrant garments.

**267.** The earth, smooth and level like a mirror, shone brightly. The gods showered it with fragrant water, making it dust-free and radiant, like a chaste woman, free from impurities and bathed.

**268.** Trees, displaying an unusual blossoming, seemed to be embraced by all seasons at once, as if in fear.

**269.** Due to the Lord's greatness, there was abundance for four hundred leagues around, prosperity, health, and the earth was free from the violence of living beings.

**270.** All beings, suddenly experiencing a wave of joy, embraced friendship, as if they had found kinship.

**271.** The flowers, showering pollen and nectar, with newly blossomed stamens, and petals adorned with various jewels, were a sight to behold.
