. आदिपुराणम् अर्धमागधिकाकारमाषापरिण ताखिलः । त्रिजगज्जनतामैत्रीसंपादितगुणाद्भुतः ॥२५०॥ स्वसंनिधानसंफुल्लफलिताकुरितद्रुमः । आदर्शमण्डलाकारपरि वर्तितभूतलः ॥२५॥ सुगन्धिशिशिरानुच्चैरनुयायिसमीरणः । अकस्माज्जनतानन्दसंपादिपरमोदयः ॥२५२॥ मरु'कुमार संमृष्टयोजनान्तररम्यभूः । स्तनितामरसंसिक्तगन्धाम्बुधिरजोवनिः ॥२५३॥ मृदुस्पर्शसुखाम्भोजविन्यस्तपदपङ्कजः । शालिव्रीह्यादिसंपमवसुधासूचितागमः ॥२५॥ "शरत्सरोवरस्पर्धिव्योमोदाहृत संनिधिः । ककुत्रन्तरवैमल्यसंदर्शितसमागमः ॥२५५॥ ------ घुसपरस्पराह्वानभ्वानरुवहरिन्मुखः । सहसारस्फुरदर्मचक्ररत्नपुरःसरः ॥२५६॥
पुरस्कृताष्टमाङ्गल्यध्वजमालातताम्बरः । सुरासुरानुयातोऽभूद-विजिहीपुस्तदा विभुः ॥२५॥ तदा मधुरगम्मोरो जजृम्भे दुन्दुभिध्वनिः । नमः समन्तादार्य क्षुभ्यदन्धिस्वनोपमः ॥२५॥ ववृषुः सुमनोवृष्टिमापूरितनभोङ्गणम् । सुरा भव्यद्विरेफाणां सौमनस्य विधायिनीम् ॥२५९॥
समन्ततः स्फुरन्ति स्म' पालिकेतनकोटयः । श्राह्वातुमिव भन्यौपानेतैतेति मरुताः ॥२६॥ रहित वृत्तिको धारण कर प्रस्थान किया ।।२४६॥ जिन्होंने अर्धमागधी भाषामें जगत्के समस्त जीवोंको कल्याणका उपदेश दिया था जो तीनों जगत्के लोगोंमें मित्रता कराने रूप गुणोंसे सबको आश्चर्यमें डालते हैं, जिन्होंने अपनी समीपतासे वृक्षोंको फूल फल और अंकुरोंसे व्याप्त कर दिया है,जिन्होंने पृथिवीमण्डलको दर्पपाके आकार में परिवर्तित कर दिया है, जिनके साथ सुगन्धित शीतल तथा मन्द-मन्द वायु चल रही है, जो अपने उत्कृष्ट वैभवसे अकस्मात् ही जन-समुदायको आनन्द पहुँचा रहे हैं, जिनके (विहार कालमें ) ठहरनेके स्थानसे एक योजन तककी भूमिको पवनकुमार जातिके देव झाड़-बुहारकर अत्यन्त सुन्दर रखते हैं, जिनके विहारयोग्य भूमिको मेघकुमार जातिके देव सुगन्धित जलकी वर्षा कर धूलि-रहित कर देते हैं, जो कोमल स्पर्शसे सुख देनेके लिए कमलोंपर अपने चरण-कमल रखते हैं, शालि व्रीहि आदिसे सम्पन्न अवस्थाको प्राप्त हुई पृथिवी जिनके आगमनको सूचना देती है, शरद्ऋतुके सरोवरके साथ स्पर्धा करनेवाला आकाश जिनके समीप आनेकी सूचना दे रहा है, दिशाओंके अन्तरालकी निर्मलतासे जिनके समागमकी सूचना प्राप्त हो रही है, देवोंके परस्पर एक दूसरेको बुलानेके लिए प्रयुक्त हुए शब्दोंसे जिन्होंने दिशाओंके मुख व्याप्त कर दिये हैं, जिनके आगे हजार अरवाला देदीप्यमान धर्मचक्र चल रहा है, जिनके आगे-आगे चलते हुए अष्ट मंगलद्रव्य तथा आगे-आगे फहराती हुई ध्वजाओंके समूहसे आकाश व्याप्त हो रहा है और जिनके पीछे अनेक सुर तथा असुर चल रहे हैं ऐसे विहार करनेके इच्छुक भगवान उस समय बहुत ही अधिक सुशोभित हो रहे थे ॥२५०-२५७। उस समय क्षुब्ध होते हुए समुद्रको गर्जेनाके समान आकाशको चारों ओरसे व्याप्त कर दुन्दुभि बाजोंका मधुर तथा गम्भीर शब्द हो रहा था ।।२५८।। देव लोग भव्य जीवरूपी भ्रमरोंको आनन्द करनेवाली तथा आकाशरूपी आँगनको पूर्ण भरती हुई पुष्पोंकी वर्षा कर रहे थे ॥२५९।। जिनके वस्त्र वायुसे हिल रहे हैं ऐसी करोड़ों ध्वजाएँ चारों ओर फहरा रही थीं और वे ऐसी जान पड़ती थीं मानो 'इधर आओ इधर आओ' इस प्रकार भव्य जीवोंके समूहको बुला ही रही हों
