पञ्चविंशतितमं पर्व विश्वकर्मा जगज्ज्येष्ठो विश्वमूर्तिर्जिनेश्वरः। विश्वविश्वभूतेशो विश्वज्योतिरीश्वरः ॥१०३॥ जिनो जिष्णुरमेयारमा विश्वरीशो जगत्पतिः । अनन्तजिदचिन्स्याल्मा भव्यबन्धुरबन्धनः ॥१०४॥ युगादिपुरुषो ब्रह्म पञ्च ब्रह्ममयः शिवः । परः परतरः सूक्ष्मः परमेष्ठी सनातनः ॥१०॥ स्वयं ज्योतिरजोऽजन्मा अझयोनिरयोनिजः । मोहारिविजयी जता धर्मचक्री दयाध्वजः ॥१०६॥
करनेवाले, स्वच्छ तथा तृष्णाको नष्ट करनेवाले हैं इसलिए विश्वतोमुख २९ कहे जाते हैं ॥१०२।। आपने कर्मभूमिको व्यवस्था करते समय लोगोंकी आजीविकाके लिए असि-मपी आदि सभी कर्मों-कार्योंका उपदेश दिया था इसलिए आप विश्वकर्मा ३० कहलाते हैं, आप जगन्में सबसे ज्येष्ठ अर्थात् श्रेष्ठ हैं इसलिए जगज्ज्येष्ठ ३१ कहे जाते हैं, आप अनन्त गुणमय हैं अथवा समस्त पदार्थोके आकार आपके ज्ञानमें प्रतिफलित हो रहे हैं इसलिए आप
श्वमति ३२ हैं. कर्मरूप शत्रओंको जीतनेवाले सम्यग्दष्टि आदि जीवोंके आप ईश्वर हैं इसलिए जिनेश्वर ३३ कहलाते हैं, आप संसारके समस्त पदार्थोंका सामान्यावलोकन करते हैं इसलिए विश्वदृक् ३४ कहलाते हैं, समस्त प्राणियोंके ईश्वर हैं इसलिए विश्वभूतेश ३५ कहे जाते हैं, आपकी केवलज्ञानरूपी ज्योति अखिल संसारमें व्याप्त है. इसलिए आप विश्वज्योति ३६ कहलाते हैं, आप सबके स्वामी हैं किन्तु आपका कोई भी स्वामी नहीं है इसलिए आप अनीश्वर ३७ कहे जाते हैं ॥१०३॥ आपने घातियाकर्मरूपी शत्रुओंको जीत लिया है इससे आप जिन ३८ कहलाते हैं, कर्मरूपी शत्रुओंको जीतना ही आपका शील अर्थात् स्वभाव है इसलिए आप जिष्णु ३९ कहे जाते हैं, आपको आत्माको अर्थात् आपके अनन्त गुणोंको कोई नहीं जान सका है इसलिए आप अमेयात्मा ४० हैं, पृथिवीके ईश्वर हैं इसलिए विश्वरीश ४१ कहलाते हैं, तीनों लोकोंके स्वामी हैं इसलिए जगत्पति ४२ कहे जाते हैं, अनन्त संसार अथवा मिथ्यादर्शनको जीत लेनेके कारण आप अनन्तजित् ४३ कहलाते हैं, आपको आत्माका चिन्तवन मनसे भी नहीं किया जा सकता इसलिए आप अचिन्त्यात्मा ४४ हैं, भव्य जीवोंके हितैषी हैं इसलिए भव्यबन्धु ४५ कहलाते हैं, कर्मवन्धनसे रहित होनेके कारण अबन्धन ४६ कहलाते हैं ।।१०४ा आप इस कर्मभूमिरुपी युगके प्रारम्भमें उत्पन्न हुए थे इसलिए युगादिपुरुष ४७ कहलाते हैं, केवलज्ञान आदि गुण आपमें बृंहण अर्थात् वृद्धिको प्राप्त हो रहे हैं इसलिए आप ब्रह्मा ४८ कहे जाते हैं, आप पंचपरमेष्ठीस्वरूप हैं, इसलिए पंच ब्रह्ममय ४९ कहलाते हैं, शिव अर्थात् मोक्ष अथवा आनन्दरूप होनेसे शिव ५० कहे जाते हैं, आप सब जीवोंका पालन अथवा समस्तज्ञान आदि गुणोंको पूर्ण करनेवाले हैं इसलिए पर ५१ कहलाते हैं, संसार में सबसे श्रेष्ठ हैं इसलिए परतर ५२ कहलाते हैं, इन्द्रियोंके द्वारा आपका आकार नहीं जाना जा सकता अथवा नामकर्मका भय हो जानेसे आपमें बहुत शीघ्र सूक्ष्मत्व गुण प्रकट होनेकाला है इसलिए आपको सूक्ष्म ५३ कहते हैं, परमपदमें स्थित हैं इसलिए परमेष्टी ५४ कहलाते हैं और सदा एक-से ही विद्यामान रहते हैं इसलिए सनातन ५५ कहे जाते हैं ॥१०५|| आप स्वयं प्रकाशमान हैं इसलिए स्वयंज्योति ५६ कहलाते हैं, संसार में उत्पन्न नहीं होते इसलिए अज ५७ कहे जाते हैं, जन्मरहित हैं इसलिए अजन्मा ५८ कहलाते हैं, आप ब्रह्म अर्थात् वेद (द्वादशांग शास्त्र) की उत्पत्तिके कारण हैं इसलिए ब्रह्मयोनि ५९ कहलाते हैं,
१. विश्वरि मही तस्या ईशः । २. संसारजित् । ३. पञ्चपरमेष्ठिस्वरूपः । ४. आत्मयोनिः । ५. मोहारिविजयी-द० । ६. जयशीलः ।

**The Twenty-Fifth Chapter**

**Vishvakarma, the Supreme Being of the Universe, the Lord of the Jinas.**

He is the Lord of all the worlds, the Lord of the light of the universe. ||103||

The Jina, the Victorious, the immeasurable soul, the Lord of the universe, the Lord of the world. He is the Infinite Victor, the Incomprehensible Soul, the friend of the liberated souls, the unbound. ||104||

He is the first being of the age, Brahma, the five-fold Brahma, Shiva. He is the Supreme, the most Supreme, the subtle, the Supreme Lord, the eternal. ||105||

He is self-luminous, unborn, without a womb, without origin. He is the conqueror of delusion, the victorious, the righteous, the wheel-turner of Dharma, the banner of compassion. ||106||

Those who are doers, pure, and free from craving are called **Vishvato-mukha** (all-faced). ||102||

You established the field of karma and taught all actions and deeds, including the sword and the measuring rod, for the livelihood of people. You are the Lord of all beings, therefore you are called **Vishvabhut-esha** (the Lord of all beings). Your light of pure knowledge pervades the entire universe, therefore you are called **Vishvajyoti** (the light of the universe). You are the Lord of all, but you have no Lord, therefore you are called **Anishwara** (without a Lord). ||103||

You have conquered the enemies in the form of bad karma, therefore you are called **Jina** (the conqueror). Conquering the enemies in the form of karma is your nature, therefore you are called **Jishnu** (the victorious). No one has known your soul, your infinite qualities, therefore you are called **Ameyatma** (the immeasurable soul). You are the Lord of the earth, therefore you are called **Vishwarish** (the Lord of the universe). You are the Lord of the three worlds, therefore you are called **Jagatpati** (the Lord of the world). You have conquered the infinite world, or the false view, therefore you are called **Anant-jit** (the infinite conqueror). Your soul cannot be contemplated even by the mind, therefore you are called **Achintyatma** (the incomprehensible soul). You are the well-wisher of the liberated souls, therefore you are called **Bhavya-bandhu** (the friend of the liberated souls). You are free from the bondage of karma, therefore you are called **Abandhan** (the unbound). ||104||

You were born at the beginning of this age, the field of karma, therefore you are called **Yugadhipurusha** (the first being of the age). The qualities of pure knowledge, etc., are increasing in you, therefore you are called **Brahma** (the creator). You
