________________ १८ ४३८ आदिपुराणम् शालिनी गायन्तीनां किन्नरोणां वनान्ते शृण्वद्गीतं हारिणं हारियूथम् । अर्द्धग्रस्तोरसृष्टनियत्तणाग्र ग्रासं किंचि न्मीलिताक्षं तदास्ते ॥१५॥ 'यात्यन्तर्दूि वन विम्ब महीध्रस्यास्योत्संगे किं गतोऽस्तं पतङ्गः । इत्याशङ्काम्याकुलाभ्येति भीति प्राक्सायाह्वात् कोककान्तो पकान्तम् ॥१५॥ उपेन्द्रवजा । सदा प्रफुल्ला वितता नलिन्यः सदात्र तन्वन्ति रवानलिन्यः। -- क्षरन्मदाः सन्ततमेव नागाः सदा च रम्याः फलिनो बनागाः ॥१५॥ वसन्ततिलकम् - - अस्यानुसानु वनराजिरियं विनीला धत्ते श्रियं नगपतेः शरदभ्रमासः । शाटी विनीलरुचिर प्रति पाण्डुकान्तेनीलाम्बरस्य रचितेव नितम्बदेशे ॥१६०॥ छन्दः (?) बिभ्रच्छे णीद्वितयविभागे वनषण्डं भाति श्रीमानयमवनीध्मो विधुवित्रः । वेगाविद्धं रुचिरसिताभ्रोज्ज्वलमूर्तिः पर्यन्तस्थं घनमिव नीलं सुरदन्ती ॥१६॥ मालिनी सुरभिकुसुमरेणूनाकिरविश्वदिक्कं परिमलमिलितालिव्यक्तझंकारहयः। प्रतिवनमिह शैले वाति मन्दं नमस्वान् प्रतिविहितनमोगस्त्रैणसंभोगखेदः ॥१६२॥ मुचकी घासको भी नहीं खा रहा है ॥१५६।। इधर वनके मध्यमें गाती हुई किन्नर जातिकी देवियोंका सुन्दर संगीत सुनकर यह हरिणोंका समूह आधा चबाये हुए तृणोंका ग्रास मुँहसे बाहर निकालता हुआ और नेत्रोंको कुछ-कुछ बन्द करता हुआ चुपचाप खड़ा है ॥१५७|| इधर यह सूर्यका बिम्ब इस पर्वतके मध्य शिखरकी ओटमें छिप गया है इसलिए सूर्य क्या अस्त हो गया, ऐसी आशंकासे व्याकुल हुई चकवी सायंकालके पहले ही अपने पतिके पास खड़ी-खड़ी भयको प्राप्त हो रही है ॥१५८।। इस पर्वतपर कमलिनियाँ खूब विस्तृत हैं और वे सदा ही फूली रहती हैं, इस पर्वतपर भ्रमरियाँ भी सदा गुंजार करती रहती हैं, हाथी सदा मद झराते रहते हैं और यहाँके वनोंके वृक्ष भी सदा फूले-फले हुए मनोहर रहते हैं ॥१५९॥ यह पर्वत शरत् ऋतुके बादलके समान अतिशय स्वच्छ है । इसके शिखरपर लगी हुई यह हरी-भरी वन की पंक्ति ऐसी शोभा धारण कर रही है मानो बलभद्रके अतिशय सफेद कान्तिको धारण करनेवाले नितम्ब भागपर नीले रंगकी धोती ही पहनायी हो ॥१६०।। यह सुन्दर पर्वत चन्द्रमा के समान स्वच्छ है और दोनों ही श्रेणियोंके बीच में हरे-हरे वनोंके समूह धारण कर रहा है जिससे ऐसा जान पडता है मानो मनोहर और सफेद मेघके समान उज्ज्वल मूर्तिसे सहित तथा वायुके वेगसे आकर दोनों ओर समीपमें ठहरे हुए काले-काले मेघोंको धारण करनेवाला ऐरावत हाथी ही हो ।।१६१।। जो सुगन्धित फूलोंकी परागको सब दिशाओंमें फैला रहा है, जो सुगन्धिके कारण इकठ्ठ हुए. भ्रमरोंकी स्पष्ट झंकारसे मनोहर जान पड़ता है और जो विद्याधरियोंके सम्भोगजनित खेदको दूर कर देता है ऐसा वायु इस पर्वतके प्रत्येक वनमें धीरे-धीरे बहता १. हरिणामिदम् । २. मनोज्ञम् । ३. प्रथमकवलम् । ४. याति सति । ५. पिधानम् । ६. रवि । ७. तरणिः । ८. अपराहणात् प्रागेव । ९. प्रियतमसमीपे । १०. करिणः। ११. वनवृक्षाः । १२. सानो। १३. मेघरुचः । १४. वस्त्र । १५. रुचिरा -अ०। १६. असमानधवलशरोरदीधितेः । १७. बलभद्रस्य । १८. चन्द्रवद्धवलः । 'वोधू तु विमलार्थकम्' इत्यभिधानात् । १९. वेगेन संबद्धम् । २०. चिकित्सित वा निराकृत । २१. स्त्रीसमूह ।
