________________ १८२ आदिपुराणम् श्रद्धादिगुणसंपत्या गुणवद्भ्यां विशुद्धिमान । दवा विधिवदाहारं पञ्चाश्चर्याण्यवाप सः ॥१७३॥ वसुधारां दिवो देवाः पुष्पवृष्ट्या सहाकिरन् । मन्दं ब्योमापगावारि कणकीमरुदाववौ ॥१७॥ मन्द्रदुन्दुमिनि?षैः घोषणां च प्रचक्रिरे । अहो दानमहो दानमित्युच्चैरुद्धदिङमुखम् ॥१७५॥ ततोऽमिवन्ध संपूज्य विसय मुनिपुङ्गवौ। काजकीयादबुद्धनौ चरमावात्मनः सुतौ ॥१७६॥ श्रीमत्या सह संश्रित्य संप्रीत्या निकटं तयोः । म धर्ममशृणोत् पुण्यकामः सद्गृहमेधिनाम् ॥१७॥ दानं पूजां च शीलं च प्रोषधं च प्रपञ्चतः । श्रुत्वा धर्म ततोऽपृच्छत् सकान्तः स्वां मवावलीम् ॥१७८॥ मुनिर्दमवरः प्राख्यत् तस्य जन्मावलीमिति । दशनांशुभिरुयोतमातन्वन् दिङ्मुखेषु सः ॥१७९॥ चतुर्थे जन्मनीतस्त्वं जम्बूद्वीपविदेहगे। गन्धिले विषये सिंहपुरे श्रीषेणपार्थिवात् ॥१८॥ सुन्दर्यामतिसुन्दा ज्यायान् सूनुरजायथाः । निदादाहतीं दीक्षामादायान्यक्तसंयतः ॥१८१॥ विद्याधरेन्द्रमोगेषु न्यस्तधीमतिमापिवान् । प्रागुक्ते गन्धिले रूप्यगिरेरुत्तरसत्तटे ॥१८२॥ नगर्यामलकाख्यायां व्योमगानामधीशिता । महाबलोऽभूर्भागांश्च यथाकामं त्वमन्वभूः ॥१८३॥ स्वयंबुद्धात् प्रबुद्धारमा जिनपूजापुरस्सरम् । त्यक्त्वा संन्यासतो देहं ललितानः सुरोऽभवः ॥१८॥ ततश्च्युस्वाधुनाभूस्त्वं वज्रजामहीपतिः । श्रीमती च पुरैकस्मिन् मवे द्वीपे द्वितीयके ॥१८५॥ वचन, कायको शुद्ध किया और फिर श्रद्धा, तुष्टि, भक्ति, अलोभ, क्षमा, ज्ञान और शक्ति इन गुणोंसे विभूषित होकर विशुद्ध परिणामोंसे उन गुणवान दोनों मुनियोंको विधिपूर्वक आहार दिया। उसके फलस्वरूप नीचे लिखे हुए पञ्चाश्चर्य हुए। देव लोग आकाशसे रत्नवर्षा करते थे, पुष्पवर्षा करते थे, आकाशगंगाके जलके छींटोंको बरसाता हुआ मन्द-मन्द वायु चल रहा था, दुन्दुभि बाजोंकी गम्भीर गर्जना हो रही थी और दिशाओंको व्याप्त करनेवाले 'अहो दानम् अहो दानम्' इस प्रकारके शब्द कहे जा रहे थे ॥१७२-१७५।। तदनन्तर वज्रजंघ, जब दोनों मुनिराजोंको वन्दना और पूजा कर वापस भेज चुका तब उसे अपने कंचुकीके कहनेसे मालूम हुआ कि उक्त दोनों मुनि हमारे ही अन्तिम पुत्र हैं ॥१७६।। राजा वज्रजंव श्रीमतीके साथ-साथ बड़े प्रेमसे उनके निकट गया और पुण्यप्राप्तिकी इच्छासे सद्गृहस्थोंका धर्म सुनने लगा॥१७७।। दान, पूजा, शील और प्रोषध आदि धोका विस्तृत स्वरूप सुन चुकनेके बाद वनजंघने उनसे अपने तथा श्रीमतीके पूर्वभव पूछे ॥१७८।। उनमें से दमधर नामके मुनि अपने दाँतोंकी किरणोंसे दिशाओंमें प्रकाश फैलाते हुए उन दोनोंके पूर्वभव कहने लगे ॥१७९॥ हे राजन्, तू इस जन्मसे चौथे जन्ममें जम्बूद्वीपके विदेह क्षेत्रमें स्थित गन्धिल देशके सिंहपुर नगरमें राजा श्रीषेण और अतिशय मनोहर सुन्दरी नामकी रानीके ज्येष्ठ पुत्र हुआ था। वहाँ तूने विरक्त होकर जैनेश्वरी दीक्षा धारण की। परन्तु संयम प्रकट नहीं कर सका और विद्याधर राजाओंके भोगोंमें चित्त लगाकर मृत्युको प्राप्त हुआ जिससे पूर्वोक्त गन्धिल देशके विजयाध पर्वतकी उत्तर श्रेणीपर अलका नामकी नगरीमें महाबल हुआ। वहाँ तूने मनचाहे भोगोंका अनुभव किया। फिर स्वयम्बुद्ध मन्त्रीके उपदेशसे आत्मज्ञान प्राप्त कर तूने जिनपूजा कर समाधिमरणसे शरीर छोड़ा और ललितांगदेव हुआ। वहाँसे च्युत होकर अब वनजंघ नामका राजा हुआ है ॥१८०-१८४॥ यह श्रीमती भी पहले एक भवमें धातकीखण्डद्वीपमें पूर्व मेरुसे पश्चिमकी ओर गन्धिल देशके पलालपर्वत नामक ग्राममें किसी गृहस्थकी पुत्री थी। वहाँ कुछ पुण्यके उदयसे तू उसी देशके पाटली १. धारा दिवो अ०, ५०, द०, स०, ल० । २. वारिकणान् किरतीति वारिकणकीः । ३. वृद्धकञ्चु. किनः सकाशात् । ४. प्रारब्धयोगी। ५.-भवत् अ०। ६. पूर्वस्मिन् ।
